QUESTION:

What is a good amount of Impressions to be receiving per day on facebook?

The one particular ad I am running right now ..

Day 1 - 26,565
Day 2 - 7,117
Day 3 - 0

4 clicks only.

I don't know what i might be doing wrong.

Also waiting on 2 ads for pending review going on about 10 hours now

Facebook always wants to make as much money as possible from your ads. The only way they can make money is if you get a lot of clicks. So they will give a higher priority to ads that get a lot of clicks (=higher CTR).

When you submit a new ad, Facebook doesn't know the CTR of your ad, so they will test it. They will give you a decent amount of clicks on the first day. From this, they will calculate your CTR. If it's high enough, they will continue displaying ads. Until eventually, your CTR is too low.

Of course your bid is important too. The higher that is, the more they will make. But if you don't get clicks, it doesn't matter.

So you should either increase your bids or your CTR.

Hi,

It appears one or more of your ads may have been incorrectly disapproved. Please disregard any email you may have previously received regarding your ad(s) being disapproved. We have re-approved any of the ads that this may have been the case for and these ads have been restored to their previous state and are active again.

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. Please let us know if you have any questions or if we can be of any further assistance.

Sincerely,

The Facebook Ads Team

I woke up to that in my inbox this morning. Someone fucked up I think.

The ad they disapproved was weren't even active so it didn't matter to me at all.

haha, they slapped my one campaign that I don't even promote anymore because the conversions went to shit. Good to know they went through my account and didn't stop some of my stuff that I thought they would of. They didn't even slap my gay dating ads from the campaign I reveal in my sig

Well I've been crushed by FaceBook too. Not quite the full FaceBoot but they did dump all my good ads yesterday for two reasons. I emailed my rep and was told that you can no longer mention specifics about the surfer you are targeting in any ad copy. So if you're targeting Xbox players for example, you can't say "Are you an Xbox player?" in the ad. Reason being some of their members were bitching about privacy issues. They seem to be hit and miss on this rule though since I have some ads with gender references matching the target gender, and those didn't get pulled. Everything that targeted a specific age or age group, specific illness or sexual orientation got yanked. Even paused ads. :(

That killed half my ads. The other half got pulled because they won't let you advertise incentive-style fake survey sites anymore. Went from $2K weekly profit to almost nothing.

Over the past five days, I began averaging between $400-$500 per day. I'm sure others in this thread are pushing far larger volumes, yet managing to keep their networks happy. How does that happen? :eek7:

Agh, as a newbie who just got into this side of things it is very confusing.

Alot of my ads get disapproved. I have shitty CTRs (0.09 avg). My best CTR for a campaign (0.25) just wasn't converting at all after 100 clicks. And that was super targeted.

My question to you guys, although I know some of you would probably prefer to keep it secret... what are the best Affiliate Networks to go with? And by best, I mean the type that have unique offers with landing pages that convert!

I was on facebook last night and I saw an ad about "A boy who ate a horse". That was the title and the description. Then I clicked the ad for curiosity sake and it was a faux newspaper with a video for a Sorbent ad. Where the fuck do you get offers like that from?!!? Such a novel and unique landing page. If gets paid per action that guy would make a nice little bundle.

its not always a affiliate campaign..look at the url and determine wether or not if it was a landing page..or look around the page to see if it goes onto the next page..it isnt always a campaign. it could be just some retarded shit..

i like copeac & maxbounty the best, both have set me gifts for hitting numbers. stopped using NB and Azogle long ago for paymt probs. xy7 is soso for offers but good luck reaching your AM. others affiliate networks dont seem to be worth it.

Yeah, I got kicked off singlesnet for bad FB traffic. Also had a 2k lead chargeback but it seems as they forgot to actually not send me that money.

Lol. They'll send u money, unless something big happens. Theres nothing to worry about, cuz they'll have to send u the money even if they do decide to cut u off. Thats the rule!

The network can't possibly do a chargeback just because they weren't able to convert your leads. You got an interested party to their end, and it's the website owners' responsibility to make sure these leads open up their wallets. If they're unable to maintain a quality website that can't makes a sale from people who are already interested, it's ultimately their loss.

Say that to CPAempire and singlesnet lol.

Yeah Singlesnet are bitches on every aff network. They will do everything possible to pay you less. Even with traffic that converts extremely well for every other dating site, Singlesnet doesn't hesitate to put you on a lower pay tier.
