Facebook Social Ads

My entire account literally just had every single ad I was running, save two, shut down. Anyone else experiencing this? All quoted for section 6 and 7, even though section 6 and 7 doesn't really apply...
 


Read this email I got from someone in their sales dept. Especially the last part. Feels like a major shift in policy - it appears they are going after some of the spammy looking CPA offers:

Ad Issue(s):
All ad text and images must be accurate, relevant and appropriate to the product or service being advertised. Ad text or images may not single out an individual or degrade the viewer of the ad. For this reason, users’ profile attributes may only be included in the text of your ad when directly relevant to the product being offered. Content that depicts a health condition in a negative light or implies that the ad viewer has a health condition is also prohibited.

In general, we reserve the right to determine what advertising we accept. We may choose, in order to keep our advertising as effective and relevant for our users, to not accept ads containing or relating to certain products or offers.

We appreciate your cooperation with this policy.

Exact same thing. Facebook just shit on me. Maybe if they don't like the stuff I'm promoting they should put it in their list of things they don't like people to promote.
 
Bloody hell, my sympathies for you guys that were using FB as a major revenue source.
I'm so glad I got fed up when I did... I'd be tearing hair out over this crap.
That said, I think I might start a fake account using those coupons just to test out what can and can't work.... So thanks you guys, your hard ships are at least having some good in providing a lesson for others.

What are you doing now? Straight PPC on Google/Yahoo?
 
It's not just people reporting ads, they are manually reviewing accounts.

I just got about 6 ads rejected that have been paused for weeks.
 
About 50% got taken out for me. They some large money makers. I wonder if CPC is going to to down (what a cup half full comment)

I think your right, 2 of my ads that had the exclamation point went to green today after the ban wave. Might just be a concidence though.
 
I'm getting 0.08 cent clicks in the UK right now with a CTR of .04%. Looks like it murdered CPC prices.

Good job Facebook, you just tossed away ALOT of money.
 
Is the manual review of accounts done? I may have survived their interns' wrath. :bowdown: Alternatively, this may be why my CTR is so low.
