I'm not even able to create an ad right now. Is anyone else getting Javascript errors when you try to target your ad? I get "bid_estimator_updated" is undefined when trying to target an ad, and it doesn't show how many people are in that demo.

Unfortunately, if you have had several failed payments with a credit card on our site you will no longer be able to use this card to pay for charges on your account. Please add another credit card on Facebook to pay for your remaining balances and resume your ads on our site. Let me know if you have any further questions or problems.

Look at that bullshit... thanks american express and especially facebook. now what...

yea in a way i'm actually happy to know they have such strong security at amex. They denied my card in the first place because they thought someone had stolen it.

Yea facebook can be a huge drag sometimes.

My amex card was also declined several times at Facebook. I started using a chase visa miles card and it's been charged successfully almost every day for the past couple months.

Call AMEX credit services department and have them raise your spending limit.

I have an unlimited spend limit with them and about once a week for the last 3 weeks they shut it down due to the facebook charges...I've spoke with their fraud dept at AMEX and they assured me it wouldn't happen again, they said that three times now.

hmmm, You're lucky... It's only happened to me twice and my card is already booted.

You need to call AMEX before you spend any money at places like adwords or facebook, have them note your account as a "high volume client" and let them know you'll have a lot of repetitive charges from the same merchants. The last time I spoke to an AMEX the rep said their system flags accounts where the same vendor charges the same amount (daily limit) within a certain time frame. From a risk management point of view that is perfectly reasonable but it doesn't work well for us, just call them and make sure they note it on your account.

Then I guess your spending limit is not really "unlimited" is it now?

There is no such thing as an "unlimited" credit or charge card, just one with a really high discreet limit.
