  • Facebook allowed shady advertisements to run on their network
  • Facebook reviewed and approved all the ads agreeing they were ok to show to their users
  • Facebook users complained
  • Facebook banned the ads
  • FTC complained
  • Facebook rolled over and played innocent heroes and got pats on the back for getting rid of the "bad advertisers" that they made a business decision to let in in the first place
  • In the end Facebook made an ocean of cash on the offers and then shit on the affiliates that gave it to them.

They didn't comply with the FTC, that was just good press for both sides. Facebook complied because their righteous users complained about free monies and free berries, the timing was just spot on. Notice how no one else got rid of these offers?
 
Surely it would of been easiser and more convenient to just message your Uk customers or post a notice about being able to contact facebook reps when posting adverts??
 
the fact that I can't give facebook an IP exclusion list is totally fucking bullshit.

If you are UK-based, get in touch with me and I'll give you rational explanations for why Facebook is how it is. If you are non-UK, get in touch with the people in the US and I'm sure they'll do the same.

I realise this is a highly emotive subject and you all just want to make money as easily and logically as possible, so if you have genuine concerns, contact me, as a few of you already have.
