Hey all,

If any of you guys are based in the UK/Europe, please get in touch with Alex Wright on {Disregard: I can't answer basic questions}. If you're based in the US, I think our US colleagues' details have been posted on here already.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers.

We're trying to make it easier for guys using the ad system to get in touch with someone at Facebook. Most people we talk to are pleased to get contact details as we're reasonably hard to get in touch with otherwise. Apologies if you think it's intrusive - feel free to ignore it.

Facebook as a company has proved over and over again they're simply too stupid to bother with.

how bout make fb not shitty.. then make it easy to contact?... kk

Wow you guys are rude. I welcome any FB rep contact. I am not from the UK though but I do run traffic for the UK :)

Yeah, some unnecessary responses here.

How are you actually going to help us though? I'm personally hesitant to make any contact with the Facebook team. Your whole advertising structure is flawed because of the manual ad verification performed by your reps. I have submitted a few dozen ads so far and getting them approved has been entirely random. Ultimately I'm afraid to contact you because I feel you might steal my revenue source or shut down my ads.

^^ No not unnecessary responses. They have to come here and post their availability? How fucked is that?

OK folks, some mixed responses there. I appreciate that both this approach and facebook doesn't meet with everyone's approval but I am just trying to reach out to people who use facebook ads. I realise you are all capable of doing an excellent job without our assistance, but if you would like help with ad approvals and some best practice advice, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

You ad platform is a joke. You've already made it perfectly clear you don't want our cash so GTFO.

What is it that's troubling you about the ad platform?

What is troubling is that FB account reps come and spam WF, instead of using FB to contact affiliates. Why don't you spam your own little FB to contact affiliates. I don't get that...

Maybe this is just a way to get more people using your platform. Spamming forums is a great way to advertise i guess.

What is it that's troubling you about the ad platform?

The fact that from week to week you guys change the rules of whats allowed and whats not. Also that the people approving ads have IQs of 60. My newest facebook ad:

How Many Triangles?
Are You Smarter Than The Facebook Ad Approval Team? 98.6% of Facebook users are. Results are Scary!

facebook ads are a joke and so is your system. today i can advertise this tomorrow not. i wouldn't waste my time there. plenty of places i can advertise that don't cry to mommy everytime a user complains. so i'll spend my money there.

and by there i mean myspace google yahoo msn and a whole host of other companies.

come back and talk to us when you've stopped being such pussies.

What is it that's troubling you about the ad platform?

  1. Ads that are allowed today can easily be banned/removed tomorrow
  2. Facebook thinks they can tell us how to do our job(yeah, because I really need to target dating ads to "single males interested in females"
  3. Charging for the first 5 clicks from an IP is bullshit. And you have no click fraud detection
  4. Letting users fucking VOTE on ads is quite possibly the worst idea ever, and only works in the "let's all jack off to web 2.0" world
  5. No matter how much we spend we have no say, and no ability to contact anyone aside from ad reps.
You guys made your message perfectly clear, and I hope you all enjoy bankruptcy. Do me a favor and tell Mark Zuckerberg to suck my fucking nut.

Maybe you guys don't 'get it', but when we submit ads, not every ad is profitable. We fine tune the shit over time. Unstable ad approvals, and you guys retroactively removing ads kills the business model.
