Anyone else getting their ads disabled on what used to be good ads today? I've been running the same ads for almost two weeks and they just started killing them today. I haven't hanged anything on them or the landing page.

Have they posted any official guidelines yet?

ive noticed they are going around banning certain words such as scholarship and acne...possibly you are running an ad with those words in it?
 
My campaigns were just peachy for about a week.. until I drove the CPC down to 1 cent.. Guess they didn't like that much.

Here's a quick tip to have as many accounts as you want: PayPal virtual debit cards.
 
They are manually banning scammy ads. It takes time to even get a single impression now.
 
Yeah just noticed this. Waited about 4-6 hours to get my first 18 impressions on a new campaign..

But atleast I got those!

Can't wait to have no competition as the weak get blown out of the water..

If you're running dating offers you must put the name of the site in your ad.

Anyone know why after couple of hours your campaign comes to a halt as far as impression goes?

My CTR is around .5% but I am getting no impression at all. Wondering how they are distributing impression throughout the day.
 
When that happens to me I just push up my CPC then lower it slowly until I'm getting the stream of traffic and cost combo I'm looking for.
 
You get a big burst of traffic at first as they feel out your ad, then it goes to crap. It's just easier for me to use a macro to pause my 20 ads and start them up again every hour...

Right now it seems Flyers is just down as I haven't received any impressions this evening, nor has my friend.

*edit* of course as I post that they start running again. oh well, i'm just cursed today.

Got 20k impressions on a fresh ad after pushing my CPC high, now it's just trickling but I'm still getting impressions every time I reload

I'll try the pause tip.

Did you contact them first, or did they just have the courtesy to email you? I've been running a few legitimate offers (nothing against their rules, except maybe extra punctuation?) for 2 weeks now, and just got them disabled today for no reason.
 
they actually contacted me first. I thought that was pretty weird.

I can't upload pics, and it keeps saying i'm using non-standard characters to represent characters (paraphrased). Not sure what's up...

Lol, you can upload pics. It comes up with the red X but once the flyer goes live it shows the picture properly.

Heh, I was setting up an ad the other day and their system didn't let my ad in since it said I used the word "Facebook" in the ad. Funny thing is, the ad didn't say Face, Book, Facebook, FB, or anything like that (even the image name didn't contain that). I think their filters are going crazy.
 
As stated, the issue with the images:

Select to upload a photo
Browse, and select your photo
FB will do it little loading bit when the pic normally comes up.
(For me) The picture just isnt showing, no little red x or anything
Just continue, place ad copy, url, etc etc
Once the flyer goes live the image should be there.
 
Thanks wsmith. It's still telling me "Your Flyer may not contain words that substitute numbers or punctuation for letters." though. It changes my line returns to <br />'s as well. I took everything out that wasn't letter or a space, including returns, and it does the same.

I emailed the lady who contacted me earlier to see what's up...

Some random words just dont fly with them.
I remeber a while ago 'thousands' wasnt working in my ads.
