Do you remember your first $100(0) day?

Was awesome for a long time until I started getting C&D's from Microsoft. They was mad I was sellin' their shit for $550 less than the normal package.
I'm sort of familiar with this ;-) let's share some laughs on IM some time hehe.

PS: why not just let the entire op be in hands of persons from S-Am or Malaysia/China? If the profit's worth the outsource risk/management, it's worth it...

It could I guess...

It's been years since I did it. No point in getting in again for a few hundred more a day.

Towards the end of me doing it, before the last real nasty C&D and phone call, my listings would all get deleted after a few days and it'd message all the buyers saying they bought a copyright program, etc.

Became more of a hassle than it was worth when I started getting into other areas. Still couldn't beat the easy money it made to fund PPC and my SEO sites though.

You guys make me feel like an uber noob, but that first $1 out of thin fucking air is amazing. Even better when you make that dollar while you sleep. You think "All I have to do is run a cron job 1000x more often and I retire". Not exactly how it works, but not exactly untrue either. Great thread.

My first $100 day was when some lunatic ordered $1200 worth of white tea through a CJ link of mine. That's a lot of tea.
My $144 commission didn't really give me a rush, since I knew that something like that would probably never happen again. But the site itself is still a decent little earner.

When the first divx/dvd players launched I started a forum for it and plonked a single link to buy it on amazon on there, and one day I made about £100 (probably 150$ at the time) in one day, and couldnt believe it. was a one hit wonder (dont laugh, it was good for me :D)

never had success since as I dont see stuff through.

We're talking profit? Can't recall the first $100 or $1,000 profit day.. But I do remember my first $10,000+ profit in a day. I was exchanging money songs with my AM, probably the person I was talking to the most at that point in my life.. I was blasting Jay-Z, "Money Ain't a Thang".. His choice was 50 Cent - "I Get Money". It just kept getting easier from there..

No matter how much you have saved up though, when your income drops everything just feel shittier. I'm at that point right now. Only since the last month or two have I realized how good times were.

Can't wait till "Money Ain't a Thang" again.

I remember I was in LA on some trip 6 months ago and checked my stats over my iphone and saw $600 profit for some acai crap. I was all all like inside 'yes, fk yes, we're talking real money here' with my head spinning thinking of how that would translate on a monthly basis. 2 weeks later, we got slapped on G and the thing went down. Nowadays, we've migrated to lead gen and we've had a couple of $6-700 profit days (on $1k revenue) and it's not a biggie because we'll have -$100 days too. I'll celebrate when we hit $1k profit days, and make it consistent.

I remember making over $70k profit in one day on a property I owned for literally 20 mins. I calmly walked out of the closing, got in my car, drove about 5 minutes away and went absolutely ape shit in the parking lot of some office complex. That was my personal best back in my real estate days. I have yet to duplicate that in AM, but I enjoy it a lot more.

Buy me a beer some time and I'll tell you how I pulled off that deal. heh.

Yea agreed... But have you noticed that when you're not making the profits anymore you're way more motivated to actually sit down and do the grunt work?

I've been thinking about this a lot because that's exactly what is constantly happening to me. Once I get one offer to insanely perform I lose motivation to work 10+ hours and I just chill.

But then it dies and I work a week like a mad man and I create another profitable source of income.

And knowing this kinda sucks because you can't but ask yourself how much you'd be making if you could make yourself to work like that all the time...
