Do you remember your first $100(0) day?

First $100 day was right after ASW and meeting a couple really stand up guys on here. had analysis paralysis for like a year and a half and then finally buckled down and threw some money at some campaigns

Had some personal kinks that de-railed some of those efforts but that was my ah-ha moment after ASW, and still owe it to the guys who got me out there to bank hard and pay back some dues, but it was a big moment for me and come hell or high water I'm going to succeed in this industry

Well, back in my article marketing slavery days, I wrote about 5 articles, submitted them and went to bed. Logged into my CB account and saw $172. Nearly shit my pants. Then I started writing 20+ articles a day and started seeing 3-400 dollar days. And even when I moved past article marketing, I still wrote articles for an hour a day because, well, it was pretty much a sure thing to make 100-200 bucks a day from writing for an hour. That was back when ezine didn't give a shit, and my content was duplicate as shit. I was getting about 2k hops a weekend.

Makes you wonder what the number is that will make you say "ok, I don't really need to make more than that each day / month".

Is it $10,000 a day, $50,000 a day. If I was making $20,000 - $30,000 a month, I think I'd be fairly content with that..not to say that you shouldn't always have goals, but at some point do you start to feel that a million and a half a month might be more than you need? I'm not saying it is too much, but I'm curious what your "content number" is.

Hello friend,

There saying that the rich become more rich while poor become more poor.

Since people no want become poor only option is for get more rich. That why rich will always want to make more money.

Good luck bro

I think everyone has a certain dollar amount that would make them content. Personally, as long as I have everything I need, I'm content. However, that doesn't stop me from developing goals and trying to attain those goals. No matter how much money you think you have, there is always someone who has more, and that, in itself, is reason enough to keep plugging away and trying to develop bigger and badder things.

My first $100 day was just a tease to get to $200 ect ect... Now if I am not at $100 by noon I get worked up... I am straight adsense, vibrant and advertisement on my sites. I took a chance and left my job of 10 years after several of my larger sites started to take off and made enough to pay the bills... Was the best thing I've ever done... I will not quit until 1k a day is the norm.

Go big or go home.

I can't remember anything about my first $100 day. It must have been sometime when I was 16 or 17 selling game golds on ebay. The only thing I remember how I got started was I only wanted to buy a mp3 player and ever since then everything worked out.

I was going to quit my day job (as a programmer) at the end of that month to focus on AM. But when I hit the $1000 I said fuck it, I am quitting now. It was a Friday, so I had the weekend to think about it. Monday morning I called a meeting and told my manager I am out of there. He wasn't surprised though - we'd just had a conversation about why I've been acting like I don't give a fuck lately. Which was because I was doing AM til 5am every night, sleeping 3 hours and going to work where the most I could do was scull coffees and refresh my stats. I was a zombie on the verge of collapse for 3 month, spending about 16 hours a day at the computer at work and at home.

Damn that is almost my exact same story, was going to wait to leave and one day the boss got on my nerve and I said "see ya mothafucka's"... Was working before work, during work and after work on my sites and SEO for almost 2 years, I was worn the fuck out when I quit.. Now I feel almost like I am retired!

YES! SUMIT IS BACK! :action-smiley-052:

if i was over 30 and already had 10's of millions of dollars, houses, etc then honestly i would be happy with only $100 or whatever but if you are just starting out you need to get your funds quick.

Same as Onlinemoniez I was doing the Ezine articles, I was 17 at the time and the day my first articles went up is the day I had my $100 day. I was at work when I checked my stats and was at around $75, I just remember my mouth dropping, I turned to my co worker and said "I made in 1 hour doing articles what I'll make in 8 hours heres."
After work I went to my girlfriends house praying for another sale so I could say I hit $100 my first day and right around 11:30PM I got that final sale then jumped in bed with my girl.

That's the day I decided IM was my future lol

Outsource that shit. thats the best ive ever heard for article marketing. I thought those guys were happy to may $200/mo.
Ezine does suck these days, they always delete my links in the body of the article and they put nofollow on everything.

Oh, and my first hundred was with gay dating offers on adbrite in 06. Gotta start somewhere

My first $100 day was actually $200-300. Did it with Yahoo too when Google was the 'only traffic source' to use.

direct linked to a workout equipment offer made about $600 in a about 11 days.... seriously best natural high ever

I never bothered to worry about my daily profit Im more of a monthly totals guy. The first time I made 25k in a single month I literally shut myself off in my room and just thought back to being 18 and when I used to survive on $1000 a month and how far I had come... Honestly while I was super excited I was a little depressed by it too. For as much money as I've made in the last decade, I've wasted tons of it on stupid shit and dont have a lot of stuff to show for it. So much money wasted at unnecessarily expensive restaraunts and buying people I hardly know drinks et cetera. My first 25K month made me really decide to get my act together with my spending habits. When you are making $1000 a month and you have nothing to show for it at the end of the month you don't think much of it. I didn't want that to be the case when i was making 10-50K a month.

Thats what made me go out and file for my own LLC and start worrying a tad bit less about my clients brands and businesses and a little bit more about my own. If you dont build something with the money you make... the day you stop making it you are fucked. Now I focus on longevity.

OH SHIT

My first $100 day was in the incentive marketing world when it was hot and it felt great. Made me push harder and harder to reach towards $200 and so on. It was a great start, as the incentive marketing side hit auto-pilot at a comfortable income and I was also able to start pumping time and money into more viable areas. That was almost 4 years ago and currently the most I have hit in a day was over $3K.

Also, I remember the first day that I lost $100. It sucked. It pissed me off actually and made me work harder to see what the fuck I did wrong and I also made damn sure that I wouldn't make a mistake like that again. (it involved setting stupid ass high bids on the Googles in my first month of PPC)

I never get all that excited over dollar amounts. I always get excited over a campaign profiting finally, a site finally getting to the fist page on teh google, etc.

...I didn't start the way most did. I always had loads of money to play with. I actually bought Microsoft Office keys by the hundreds and sold them on eBay. Made over $300 my very first day doing it.

Was awesome for a long time until I started getting C&D's from Microsoft. They was mad I was sellin' their shit for $550 less than the normal package.

Every year or so I actually go on eBay and people are still doing it but with the latest keys (07 I think?). Fuckin' awesome hustle.

Not made a cent from affiliate marketing yet.

Best day for me, my first ever money online, getting a £100 amazon voucher from free ipod sites. I seo'd the crap outta them, I remember just being sat at the computer getting backlinks for hours. Ahh I guess without that experience I would never be writing this on here now, only way is up i suppose.
