Hi there.
I recently hired 2 filipino VA's who are niche site builders.
So far its working well and they make nice sites for me after i trained them for 2 month.

I have to give them access to all my accounts, like Amazon-affiliates, Cj, EPN, etc...
Also to godaddy.
Other wise they can't work by themself which is why i employ them.

Right now its ok, because i dont make BIG money in these account, so im not worried.

But what about when i start to make 10k a month in the future ? how can i protect my money and still give them access to my account so then my business can grow on autopilot ? any suggestion?

Is there a way i can give them limited access, like the ability to get the links, but not the ability to change name, payment method and other risky stuff.

Thanks!!

Well, for Amazon, you don't really need them to have access to your account. I'm pretty sure (although i might be wrong) that you can just add:

?tag=YourIDHere-20 to the end of ANY amazon link and it'll track your conversions from that. So your VA's would only need to find the products on Amazon and then add that to the end of the product link... no need to get your affiliate link from the associates control panel.

I'm not sure about CJ etc though.

For CPA networks, just send an email to your Affiliate Manager telling them about the situation and to let you know if anything fishy starts happening. If they get an email from someone other than you asking to change details on your account, then they will be able to intercept them.

CJ lets you create "user" accounts aswell. So you can give them access without letting the modify or see account details. I wouldn't give anyone my logins to my affiliate accounts, and you damn sure don't want your employees to see how much you're making off their efforts. If they know you're pulling in $30k/mo off the shit they do, don't you think they're going to want a raise? Or maybe they just say fuck you and do it for themselves?

I wouldn't give them access at all, not sure what you are paying them but what happens when/if the day you are making 10k a month and they look... think... hold on a minute... he's paying me one tenth of that...... oops.. bye workers... hello new niches.

Ditto, you posted before my refresh.

i have employees... and i dont let them login... i pull the links and set up the tracking for them... then i simply e-mail them work to do... so id just do that... sounds like you really dont wanna do any work

The problem is that i want my VA to apply for programs, but dont want her to see how much hi earn. the Operator user can apply but still see my income..

Any ideas ?

Your VAs cannot afford to fund campaigns. They can barely afford to keep their internet going. That's my experience. Saying that... I DON'T let them have access to the "money" accounts. I grab the links for them. But they can still do all the rest of the work. Tell them the niches, the network and get them to sign up to offervault. They don't want risks, they want a wage. Besides, don't be employing budding affilaite marketers. I use data entry types for collecting info on future campaigns. They then pass the links to the development staff. So all your work is is getting an email from your DE staff asking for links, you login and get them then email them back.

Best to just do this yourself. Make them email a request form to you, in a format you specify or something similar. I understand your desire to automate this whole thing while you sit back and sip on Mai Tai's but this is one area where you want to be hands on, and it won't take you that long to complete everyday. Its your money dude.

How do you know if someone is a budding affiliate? Before I was in AM I was just a "data entry" type, now I ruin AM with my nasty swagger.

Who said anything about them needing to pay for anything ?
Its only a technical thing to do , within my account.

Believe me its not about be able to not work. or being lazy. i work 18hours a day,
The thing is, if i allow them to do this i can't have much more work done,
I can only do that much things alone. it has limits.

Its working well for me so far, but im just looking for a technical solution for this - For them to not see the money on my account. that all i need...

Any ideas ?

Uh, depends if you trust them? Considering they're people, you know, you can't really generalize on this one.

^ Well said. If you outsource to offshore cheap labor who don't give a shit about your biz yeah you obviously don't want them in your cashier.

However - I pay $x,xxx a month for ONE support person (does a lot more though), who is trained, AMAZING at what they do (customer support/retention/refund stoppers/tech troubleshooting/simple ftp and html shit...) and they are more like my PA for biz than a simple VA offshore. They can access my money accounts, they see how much I make but in the end it still comes down to people skills and trust. Best part about this is it automates your biz, opens up your time, relieves some of the daily stresses, and if done right that person should be paying themselves off more than 1 fold.

If you (or anyone) want real support that speaks/writes fluent English, understands our world, and won't fuck you over no matter how rich you are, and you're willing to pay good money for it I can hook you up (it's not a team, I don't make shit from it, my guy says he could use another account or two, since he does well for me thought I'd mention this here..). It's a matter of finding a helper that won't bite the hand that feeds them, because they are fed well and happy.
