Dexter

That's pretty fucking hot

My guess is the kids will go elsewhere at least Rita's kids. Prob with their father or grand parents. For Dex's kid I'm not sure, maybe he'll get a good nanny. They cant tie Dexter up like that in a show like this.

Uhh, don't you see the obvious plotline? Dexter will raise his now-fucked-in-the-head son just like he was raised by his father after seeing his mother murdered and being discovered in a pool of her blood...

It would be years before that would even get interesting (teens). So I don't really see that adding too much to the series.

I can see Dex contemplating all that future stuff and that causing some distress, but in the mean time he'll prob get someone to watch the kid most the time so the story can go on. Kids take all the fun outta life for serial killers too.

Nah they'll do it. They'll just jump around in time. A few years between seasons and such won't matter.

I kinda hope they start the next season 8 years from where this one left off just so they can explore that.

Either way, everyone that watches Dexter should know the show well enough to accept the possibility it wasn't Trinity that killed Rita. Stranger plot twists have happened. If something seems too obvious, it should be doubted.

First off, to WickedJoe, Rita's kid's father got KILLED in prison and there was a funeral for him, remember? So I don't think that they will go to him.

Now, according to my woman who actually read all the books prior to the Showtime series, both Astor and Cody are pretty well fucked up and BOTH end up being little killers in their own right.

Here's a link to the Writer & Author and the book titles if interested:

I too was glad to see Rita go and "had" thought that this season got pretty close to being as good as the first season.

It was Trinity. If you watched the interview with Michael C Hall and John Lithgow they say that Trinity was the killer

Nice Info Midas. And I forgot about the old husband gettin killed.
If the kids from this season end up being future killers in the show that will just be nuts - in a good way prob.

And my estrogen levels must be up.. thinking of Astor and Cody being mean little killers is a bit sad after seeing how happy they were this season with Dex as their father in a big happy family.

I was actually considering going back and starting to watch from S3 again, guess now there is no point :D

And Deb was by FAR the most annoying character, everytime she entered a scene I started to simmer with rage.

I've only read the first two books in the series, but if you want a different take on Dexter, I'd suggest you pick them up and read them too. There are enough (significant) differences between the show and the books to make it worthwhile.

I won't go into the differences, to avoid spoilers.

It was Trinity. If you watched the interview with Michael C Hall and John Lithgow they say that Trinity was the killer

Which also could be an interesting twist later on, seeing as how the police know who Trinity was, and he visited Dex at work. It would be easy to draw a line from Dex to the plated DNA evidence that framed the trucker then too.

As much as I'd like to see the next season start 8 years later, there seems to be too many loose ends to tie up. Or not.

There's a million ways Dex could get caught this season. Unfort we wont see how he avoids all the possible ways to get caught probably.

When Trinity's family talk to the Feds why wouldnt they tell all about Kyle? Kyle was there right as they broke in, etc. Kyle and the knife incident. They'd likely be interested in Kyle.

And ya lots of other stuff too.

Awesome ending, just watched ep. 11 / 12 last night. I was slowly growing tired of the show and it being the only one I watch it was kind of disappointing. Now that "she's" out of the picture I think it's going to get a whole lot better. No more family bullshit, more action like season 2. I'm excited and you guys should be too!

holy fuck!@!@

i totally called that ending though, was pretty predictable.. BUT, still don't give a shit, the next season or two (i heard there might be 2 more?) should be very interesting now that the tables are turned.

What do you mean she's out of the picture? You don't actually think he's going to kill her do you?
