Damn long weekend!

This weekend was the first weekend in MONTHS I haven't worked. In fact Ben IM'ed me earlier today and said "you've been idle for more than 23 hours already.." -- never thought I'd hear that! I am also so tired now from all of the walking around I did with my friend who was visiting from California. This whole day I've been half asleep. I had some intense internet/work withdrawal over the weekend too, it was torture! But now that I'm back at my desk, I can hardly keep myself awake. Haha!

This is the first time in a LONG time I have had to drink coffee to keep myself awake to work! Anyhow.. this rant is over, let's get back to making some fucking money!

Same actually, I've had 4 days of new student orientation at college. Barely anytime to do anything else because I came home exausted from walking around for 10-12 hours everyday.

When I'm in a slump, I turn on some trance, start organizing my desk, and computer files like a maniac. That always makes me feel better and motivated.
 
I didnt know what to do with myself once my friends cut me off from my laptop this weekend for our trip to Destin FL.
 
yeah i didn't get a whole lot done this weekend either, a buddy of mine called me and his bar was short staffed for the long weekend so I helped out there. It was fun but it reminded me why I love not having a "real" job

Woo so you got a chance to continue your goal of being drunk while working, but for free this time. Right on!
 
Haha, interesting. I was out of town for the weekend, partying & socializing, but it seems I stayed in tune with the wicked crew anyway :drinkup:

Until this weekend I thought Jon was either a robot or a guy who loves his speed. I have seriously never seem him idle for more than 4 hours before, and even that is rare!
 
I spent upwards of $100.00 I shouldn't have spent at all on liquor, and did a lot of stuff; I had a great time.

However, I didn't get a single thing done. But I don't *live* off my net income and spend my money on very little.
 
same situation as drusam..college orientation. huff...have a fishy roommate who is so interested on why i'm always on comp(when i'm not even on comp for long)

Roomate? Poor chap. Lucky for me, I'm commuting. ;) But instead of a roomate breathing down my neck, I have my parents.
