I'm sorry that the guy died, and I dislike cops quite a bit, but the guy was like 400 lbs and was resisting when there's no way he's going to get away. What did he think was going to happen? They're either going to taze his ass or give him the midgets on a bear treatment.
And you know what it was over? He was supposedly selling UNTAXED cigarettes.

Police officers tend to be the absolute worst sorts of people for multiple reasons.
At best, they are a gang of freeloading idiots pretending to be providing a "service" to their employers in exchange for a ridiculous amount of compensation.
At worst..well, at worst they are just violent assholes forever on the lookout for an opportunity to exercise their ill-gotten privileges by intimidating, assaulting, or imprisoning other people.
If you need to wear a special costume to get respect in the world, it stands to reason you aren't the type of person who deserves any respect at all.

A good person does not let their co-workers kill people. They would have immediately arrested said cop for murder.
Let's not forget their loaded pensions and benefits costing taxpayers millions of dollars. In addition, many officers in these incidents will get paid administrative leave; once the waters is under the bridge, they often get reinstated.
