How many of you fire your AM's Xmas presents, you know real ones?
I've never been more surprised in life back when I was a corporate sheeple that I could make clients millions of dollars yet not get so much as a holiday card. Equally surprised was that at least half of the people who showed up to my wedding didn't bother to bring a gift.
I work with a close knit group of people, and I take care of them, and not shockingly get taken care of back.
Though I much prefer dining with friends at conferences OR buying. That way I control what gets eaten, and get a guaranteed handy under the table.
Win/Win.

Agreed. Best thing I ever did was stop trying to get free shit and start being proactive with my account managers like you said.
I sent a bottle of Dom to an ad rep for his birthday, that bottle has paid for itself 1000's of times over
if you're in affiliate marketing to pull free shit from your network contacts you're not making enough. i get the whole it's a relationship biz argument, but i'm tight w/ my AM's and I don't try to get them to spot me everywhere I go. at ASE I tried to pay my way at every turn -- they offered to pick up the tab frequently, but I didn't expect/need them to.
being friends with your peeps doesn't mean necessarily loading up expenses on them. we're all making money, i don't think it's a biz requirement to hit them w/ huge bills all the time.
do i want to go out to dinners w/ my managers and whatnot? absolutely. is it to get free shit? absolutely not, i always offer to split or pick up the check entirely. i like going out w/ them so i can better get to know them/discuss some things that might help make us all make more money.

There is/was no such list, show me a list with affiliates on it who they couldn't take out and ill add 100K to your next wire. Our AM's were told not to spend their entire trip with the same one affiliate that's all. My suggestion to you is ask for a new AM since your AM lied to you, its always theri choice who they take out.
Also i believe my AM;s took Mr. Ngo out to a dinner that he had to leave because some girl he was with got "robbed" he explained this story to me in the hilton lobby.
On a side note how many of you went on a bus to long island clubs on Sunday? or were take out to dinner by our AM's or managers? All paid for by Copeac.

Don't know why I got called out on the "list". Went to dinner with Copeac and a bunch of affiliates at Porterhouse last Sunday night. They took us partying at Touch afterwards.

There is a list, Mike is lying here, I have nothing to gain from posting the above. I think most people on here would tell you Im pretty low key and would never fuck anyone over...EVER. I have partnered with many people on wickedfire and never had one negative experience.
Mike your question asking if people were taken out on copeac expense was to get the board against me its very clear. You are hoping that everyone will chime in and tell them how copeac paid for a dinner. I know you take people out, thats not the point of the post, the point of the post was to figure out why you had a non expense list.
No thanks on the Mcdonalds save your money. There is a list and I heard it from at least 4 or 5 people. Copeac has more holes in it than the titanic.
Mike you need to stop taking things so personal, Ive been very good to Copeac and you guys were good to me as well. I remained faithful, your offers just werent as good...bottom line. Sad thing is I lost prob $10k testing out offers at your request, but oh no dont take him out for dinner.
For the record Ive spent thousands taking my AMs on trips, buying them watches and paying for their dinners or out at clubs. Not here cause Im mad about a free dinner, Im here wondering why you turned so fast on us. I think the answer is, you cant stand your competitors taking all your traffic as copeac slowly dies.

Yeah Really. Show me a list i sent to anyone saying not to take certain affiliates out, either the AM lied or the pub is mistaken. I tried to give the AM the benefit of the doubt when i responded to you
Also if I am not mistaken one of my AM's expensed a dinner from porterhouse for over 1K so if you paid for it, maybe i should i give you the money.
