Copeac - Do Not Expense List

I wouldn't be buying meals for people indefinitely either.

I doubt they really made a "list", that would be pretty lame. Probably just said "yo, we cant be buying shit for people who aren't bringing us revenue atm". Which is fair IMO.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this thread but it is what it is. I don't care about a free dinner, that's not the point at all. Just dissapointed that a company that I had been pretty faithful to would put me on a list of people that your cannot spend money on. I would always run copeac offers first, they weren't converting so I ran elsewhere.

Even though Copeac is a competitor, I really doubt that a list like this exists. I know we spent a ton at ASE on people that work with and people that we'll never work with. That's just the way it is sometimes, you can't win them all. Don't believe everything you hear.

Wow, still no response? That's surprising.

It's still a very odd idea. Why would you make a list of people not to take out to dinner? Wouldn't that list be ridiculously large? OMG WAS I ON THAT LIST????111

I dont think you need free meals or anything if your pulling in that kind of cash.
Just my opinion

Don't you get what this is about? He DOESN'T care about the meal. It is how copeac treated him. He has done few million of revenue for them and he get to be put on the no expense list.

failing to maintain relationships with high-performing affiliates can obviously be a costly mistake for a network. it's amazing how non-proactive most networks are, expecting leads to be served to them. would have raised the same issue if i were g33ks.

The OP just comes off to me as someone throwing a temper tantrum. Coming on here and creating a thread downing a network that you USED to run volume with just because they didn't take you out to dinner... come on. It just seems like some people must have ass kissing. You said that you don't even run traffic to them anymore and you're still pissed because they didn't take you out to dinner, wtf dude?

Of course I don't know the whole story and I don't run traffic to copeac either but seeing people act like fucking brats is really annoying.

you seem to be missing the point

I also make decisions based on logic (payouts, epc's...etc) but at the end of the day we're all human and are still driven by emotion. Reciprocity is very real. Of course any network is free to do what they choose and that should be respected but I think it's a valid point. A couple of bucks on food isn't about a "steak dinner" it's a gesture of your intent to develop the relationship.

The AM is also at fault (assuming the OP is true) Instead of gossiping he could have kept his mouth shut and easily said "Hey I'm taking you out for drinks" and dropped $20 out of his own pocket. Even if I as the affiliate end up paying, it's all good.

It's just the point.

Great point. Networks -- Bitching about not getting traffic doesn't do shit. Don't go around offering a 'slightly' higher payout to run an offer that's already working for us on another network.

Tell me what's working - that I'm not already doing - and it will be tested.
