There are some people that are talented and/or experienced enough to pick the right schemes quickly, while others have to suffer, actively search for inspiration and use tools.

Good point X, I often try to get a natural color scheme by looking at a photo of landscape, or plants/flowrs

I really really like www.colourlovers.com, it got some great pre maid color scemes ready to use. To bad the website is always kind of slow...

I also use this site from time to time, i find that it works excellent!

I've used http://www.hypergurl.com/colormatch.php

... works well for some colors, but some of the colors that come out of it are just horrendous.
