CNN, Dr. Sanjay Gupta admits to being wrong about weed.

Serious Side effects from other drugs don't cause them to be illegal why should weed be different?

He won't take my words for real.

I have more authentic sources that attest to the fact that sudden withdrawal from smoking pot can result in hallucination.

Cannabis and psychosis | Better Health Channel

You're one of those people who can't accept being wrong.

Nothing in that article talks about "withdrawal from pot resulting in hallucination."

First you talk about your dumb friend hallucinating from pot withdrawal, and then you reference shitty media articles and Yahoo answers about "hallucination from USING pot". You idiot.

No wonder you write articles for a living and need to shit on competition to be noticed.

PS - Kripke writes better than you.

That's the point.

Oh you mean medication and drugs can have side effects?

For what it's worth I smoked weed heavily for 3-4 years every single day as did many people I know since we all smoked together and we smoked strong weed that I would have sent to me from Switzerland back in 99 when everybody was smoking Mexican dirt weed. Everybody knew I had the strongest weed around. Would smoke from when id wake up in the morning to sleep and all the time in between. I didn't get high, I stayed high.

All I did was smoke and sell weed had no day job. When I finally got busted I quit weed all together at once because I was on probation and couldn't smoke. I never hallucinated. I never had withdrawals physical or mental.

Now I did end up picking up alcohol since i couidnt smoke which did not turn out so well in the end but that's a different story.

Sorry to have to break this out to you in this way

Psychotic symptoms can become worse

Cannabis use generally makes psychotic symptoms worse and lowers the chances of recovery from a psychotic episode. People with a psychotic illness who use drugs experience more delusions, hallucinations and other symptoms. They have a higher rate of hospitalisation for psychosis, and treatment is generally less effective. People with a psychotic illness should avoid using cannabis
If all of the above is true then the statement by you below is incorrect.

Nobody fucking hallucinates from pot withdrawal,
You see discussions are supposed to be constructive.

It's never personal.

I wanted to correct you on one of your statements, which is far from the truth.

If I am in the wrong, I'd be glad to have you correct me.

PS - Kripke writes better than you.

Her name is Kripi and she's not my competitor.

So psychotics shouldn't smoke weed? I'm pretty sure there's a lot of things they shouldn't be doing.

We were arguing if the average person has hallucinations for withdrawal.

Now you're talking about people who have had a history of hallucinations.

Yes, if you've had hallucinations, smoking pot will increase them, on or off it - very good.

Okay. I agree. You're right.

I cited an example that doesn't bode well with the discussion on the subject " if the average person has hallucinations for withdrawal"

I'd like to think that the answer cannot be set-in-stone and can vary from person to person.

The first para reads as

I, for one, agree with Monday’s Letter of the Day. Marijuana is a mind-altering drug. Even a small amount can cause paranoia and hallucinations.

I'm not entirely ruling out your premise.

At the same I can count on a lot of other folks that endorse my views.

Lol @ the people thinking weed can't make you trip or cause psychosis. You obviously haven't smoked enough. I've had time dilation, thought loops, open-eyed and closed-eyed visuals and complete hallucinations, synesthesia where I've seen sounds, I've watched the entirety of existence become a layered 2d landscape, I've done the ego-death thing, heard the most celestial music coming out of a bag of chips, all kinds of crazy shit.

Referring to CNN articles about "Can weed make you trip" is about the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Also, rehab for weed is hilarious too. She didn't go to rehab for weed, she went for psychosis, which is common with pot. Zillions of case studies, longitudinal studies, personal experiences and self-reports, etc. will testify to that. It's not even an argument. You either accept the reality or you don't. Weed is really bad for some people. And it's the bomb for others.

Everyone is an individual with different physical, genetic, psychological, biochemical, and neurological make-ups. To act like any one position is a catch-all is retarded, especially when it has to do with a psychoactive drug. You guys DO realize what psychoactive means right?

Indeed. If you haven't hallucinated, try a concentrated form and stop kidding yourself what you smoke is the absolute strongest.
