So, currently im currently trying to promote a certain ClickBank product, the landing page is garbage, its long and pretty much laid out terribly in my book. But then again, what do I know...

Right now im using Adwords to sent traffic directly to the publishers LP....Is it worthwhile to make my own landing page AND THEN have a button that will take them onto their shitty LP? This seems like one of those instances where I want the customer to the merchants page as quick as possible considering they have their own LP, opinions?

Also, ive heard its possible to completely bypass using the publishers LP, anyone heard or do this? Im sure its on the BH side of things but id like to hear opinions...

There are various software/scripts out there that will let you bypass the landing page and go straight to the order page from your site. It will set your cookie when forwarding.

Just use with caution...not sure if that's kosher with CB.

You might want to ask the publisher and/or clickbank to see if you can set the cookie and link directly to the buy page.

ebook marketers, for the most part, never received the memo that mile long sales letters are out. Therefore, clickbank marketing as a whole is difficult unless you can bypass their landing page and go right to the order form.

Yoink, im in the early stages of promotin, the offer suits one of my sites perfectly and the only downside to it is the landing page. Ive heard of people bypassing them before, but I wasnt 100% sure how.

tradog, that worked perfect, thanks

Yeah, the special linking code to bypass Clickbank Sales Pages will usually look like this;

http://1.YourClickBankID_MerchantID.pay.clickbank.net

The product number is normally 1 but you'll need to double-check to see what the merchant is using (VERY IMPORTANT!). Also, don't forget the underscore!

:)

Before linking to the order page...

The problem with linking like this is that the cookie is not set. If you do not set the cookie, and they wait a few days to buy, and go back to the merchants site, there goes your commission...

The only way to actually do this, setting the cookie, is either loading the order page in a frame, or stuffing the cookie and then redirecting to the order page, BOTH of which are against the ClickBank rules...

If you want that one off, buy now or else I lose out, go for it. :-)

There's another eBook sucker born every second on the Internet...

Yea, I saw some website that apparently would make a link to any page on the publishers site with the cookie/affiliate id in there.

The method he used was making a page that used the <embed> tag with the affiliate hoplink, then directly below that meta refreshed to the page you wanted. Im assuming his idea was it would set the cookie and your affiliate ID and redirect to any page, however, it didnt work for the offer im trying to promote, I kept getting affiliate=none on the bottom of the order page...
