Can Bing or Blekko Beat Google

bing is strong enough to beat google, because theyre run by one of the most powerful countries in the world. they have a huge network built up to back them too, its all how they play their cards. not that overtaking google is an easy process either, and when it comes to power like MS and Google has, a lot of it comes to chance and timing, which you have to exhaustively plan, or get lucky.

btw microsofts network includes skype and facebook and quite a few more. with the backing of those networks, i mean, ya know?
 


Never heard of blekko either. Doubt Google will ever be conquered, but it would be nice, if Bing or some other search engine was able to at least compete with them.
 
Its 5 years old thread but its look discussions again start,

If we look at last 5 years, Google has made many changes and blekko is no where, it get featured in many big sites but now its not anywhere

Bing is also going good, I am not sure about current stats but its improved a lot but there is comparison between bing and Google.

yeah never heard about Blekko, bing is good but google is best.

I don't think bing can beat google on another 5 years :)
 
For the hell of it I tried this – day 1 search everything using Bing. Day 2 with duck duck go. Now results of my experiment:
Bing: ALL results that I got were irrelevant, I couldn’t even do a WHOLE day of Bing
Duck duck go: searches were relevant + you just endlessly scroll down for results, which was a plus for me
I tried blekko, but it was acquired by ibm and basically the search engine disappeared (?) (when you go to their site it just says that it was acquired by ibm and that's it).
Why would someone want for a search engine to take over that gives irrelevant results?
I’m no Google groupie, but a search engine should at least provide relevant results.

With the new Windows 10 and the search bar, I am sure that Bing searches will be up. And with more data, Bing can (hopefully) provide better results.
Personally, I use Google all day for everything. Never got into Bing.

Blekko comes off as a spam to me. Bing however can come along the same lines, but I doubt it would beat Google.
 
Google has been taking some hits from Windows10, Mozilla and probably Apple in the future but that doesn`t mean it will be dethroned anytime soon.
Sure, Bing is doing much better now than it was doing 3 years ago but it is still a big pile of crap (I can`t find anything with it)
 
In My Opinion, Google is the best Search Engine in the world. It provides good relevant results for its users in the Search Engine Results Page. Google Always have very Strict Algorithms like Panda, Penguin, Humming Bird. That is why Bing and many other search engines cannot beat Google.
 
Hello!
We've got an area research engine Jabse, that was created with one programmer in his free time (!), that provides better outcomes than Yahoo.
For info that is better google it.
Joyful functioning :)
 
Maybe one (cruel) day google will be beaten by bing. Who knows. But right now it's the best and the most popular search engine around the world so, it will be great fight.
