Nevermind what they are planning to do, I did not learn about the Holocaust in (uk) school at all. And that was many years ago. The only highlight I remember learning in history class was how Mohammed founded the first mosque or whatever using a camel. Our headteacher was Muslim. True story.
Poor people from 3rd world countries the world round want to move the first world, regardless of race or religion.
The question would be better asked; why are low class religious fanatics being let in to europe in the fist place?
The answer to that would be the good ol' strategy of divide and conquer. If you aren't pissed off at the inmigrants, you might just start getting pissed off at the banking system, the political system, the whore media or other instruments of oppression and control used by powerful social factions.

Having been through the education system in the UK (finished high school in 1994), i can confirm that i was not taught about the holocaust in history lessons... i'm guessing it it wasn't on the curriculum because it isn't really considered part of British history...
