Anybody here use nootropic drugs to help them focus?

I use piracetam. Stuff helps me remember/gives me enhanced concentration.

Used to use stuff but don't any more - now meditate every day (usu 20 mins, at least 5 minutes) - my focus and concentration is much better, and my mind is a hell of a lot quieter these days.

Yeah - Gotu Kola, Vinpocetine, Huperzine A, ginko biloba, and panax ginseng. I take all those + B complex in the morning, and again around mid-afternoon. I definetley notice an increase in memory, concentration, and overall energy.

Also, you can't forget good ol' caffeine.

And I meditate at least 20 minutes a day (vipassana).

I've heard of piracetam. Are you really serious that you feel a difference in concentration level? Is it like drinking a cup of coffee or different?

You guys serious about the Piracetam? My Dad swears by Piracetam and Choline, but he's a gullible fucker so I thought it was all placebo effect.

I actually wrote about it here, I don't do it regularly.

I would like to take up meditation but I just can't find the will power.

Addderalllllll

That's crazy, last night I was just thinking... "What if I used adderall when working on campaigns?" And now I come on WF and see this topic... haha I was going to ask this question today.

Do you really use adderall? I've never taken it, but I can't imagine the work I would get done.

Let me put it this way: When I'm not using it, it's like my brain is full of static and wool. When I use it, I'm considerably more alert, my memory is better, and I can concentrate much more than without it.
