This is exactly why you should join. Even if you come in dead last you will learn a lot. Unless your name is grindstone nobody will say a word if you do a shitty job. But the real benefit comes from the group. What makes WF so great is what happens off WF. If you don't know what this means it's all the more reason to join. Don't be a pussy there a no excuses not to join

its odd how its fine if u join the contest and try to learn by copying others better than you. On the other hand lurkers are ostracized for trying to dissect others. just thinking out loud.

It's not odd at all. Why would some of the smartest guys in the space want there methods outed to the world? They are willing to help you grow, but you need to belong to gain from that experiance.

That or the fact that the last contest caused a algorithm update by google should be enough reason

I'm always trying learn by copying others who are better than me, they just don't know I'm doing it most of the time.

Maybe I'm paranoid, but am I the only one with reservations about letting newbies with less than 100 posts into this contest. I'm all for more competition, but 2 post wonders worry me for a couple different reasons.

Don't mind the comment, and yeah, I am a 100% a noob here, but have been in IM for years. Just hadn't hung here much. The reason I am here now, instead of just working like I normally do is Jason (my bud at AboveAll) and I have been talking and he sent me the link. The timing was right, so thought I'd jump it.

I also changed my mind after I put my hat in the ring, but I think I will do it for the fun of it

Not sure why that would change your mind, you have a BST that publically outted a ranking site you had in a comp niche.. What's the difference? Except for that, you drew attention to your site specifically.
