AWESOME! Thanks guys, these updates will def save us more time.
I just wanted to give a review/follow up of what i thought of this tool/service looking back after using it in 4 different niches for a month or so.
Since using blg i have been building quite a few different link structures (comments, xrumer, web2.0s) to our T1 backlinks as well as web 2.0s with structure behind those linking directly to our money sites. We kept each project isolated as much as possible so we could see if the service justifies the cost - the bottom line.
I have posted updates in the thread of what we have seen from blg and has been impressive so far. The last 2 projects we did with blg took a moderately competitve keyword from pos 70 to pos 31, as well as took a weight loss variation keyword into the top 200's from nowhere with no other link building for that keyword done to a 3 month old site. Since we already have a site top 5 for the same keyword and knowing how valuable that site is and what it takes to hold that positioning, the jump into the 200's is pretty damn impressive if you ask me especially when it was a set and forget project.
Overview of BLG:
Can/Could you rank your website on page one for moderate to low level niches using blg?
From what i have seen, absolutely. Even if you were paraniod about the limited list of web 2.0's or burn through them in a hurry (the only limitation i see for our intended use), there are plenty of good vendors on here you can get quality hosted content links for low cost you can run BLG comments, xrumer, and their pr profile linkwheels to to pass on some juicey-juice.
Something i would like to note that almost made me dissmiss this service, due to the initial/temporary lack of being able to see consistant gains due to the tests being semi isolated, was that it does take a bit longer to see results from this if you are not doing anything to help indexing. For example, the last two tests(results of these being the determining factor of if we keep our subscriptions) i did to confirm consistant gains took 2-3 weeks/time it took for the links to roll out to see any movement. Now let me be clear when i say that, this was in
no way any error on blg's part. Apart from the first two tests we did that i rss'd i wanted to use the tool as a "truly set and forget service" as it was intened. Being a rather impatient SEO, lol, i just wanted to add this part just so you guys are aware that it can take a bit longer, but infact you WILL see results if used properly building tiered link structures.
My feedback as a fulltime SEO:
Will blg replace our currently link building? not likely lol, however it has earned a place in our current link building plans due to the consistant results it has delivered as well as the amount of time, money, and effort it has saved/will save us on our bottom line while beefing up our tier one link properties. In addition, if you do not have a linklicious account (to get your links spidered) with the api key i highly recommend getting it, saves a shit load of time copy & pasting and we have seen noticeable improvements while using these two services together.
One of the things I would like to see are more unique hosted content options (web 2.0 properties/blogs/article submissions) available, we have 2 accounts now and can realistically use 15-20 for everything that we manage. Looking forward to see what happens with the article submission project update coming up.
@ Joe - Great Service and i look forward to growing more accounts with you guys!
Cheers!
