I also sent a request to support but didn't get an answer.
My question is - why am I only getting 6-7 links when repost to older project with 14 live properties (verified by sb)? Where is the rest of the links?
my username - sergtol. All projects I've done lately have the same issue as I see it

Not all 2.0 sites allow a second post some do some don't. Also some 2.0 sites have been deleting accounts that have anything that even hints of spam so by the time we come back to repost the account is no longer active and therefore we cannot repost to it. We take many steps to minimize this such as using a large pool of private proxies but there will still be some that get deleted. The content also plays a large part in what gets removed. Better content will stick longer.

Awesome service, as an eternal skeptic of anything that is "free" to try these days BLG really surprised with me. Granted I have good computer knowledge, it's very easy to set up and you can have it up and running in no time.

If I could afford it, I would probably have multiple accounts, can't speak for the competitors, but the 1 month free trial generated a ton of links for my websites and that was rotating 2 blogs and 1 website with just the FREE trial. I can't imagine what this thing can do if you pay for the entire package but I will find out soon.

Big up!

Thanks for sharing your experience.

You are right, I whish they had the option to allow for three different projects to run at the same time, so you don't have the problem.

We create new accounts for each bookmarking run we do. However, we do not have the ability to change the description per run. If you only want to bookmark 1 url we can add the option to only post one bookmark rather than 3 of the same one.

@Adhustler - I wish bookmarking the same URL 3 time to around 100 sites was all it took to get a site deindexed. Our competitors would not know what hit them :) What else have you done to those sites?

So I guess getting 6 links out of repost project is OK now? Oh well
See above.

I wasnt being accusatory, im not really sure what caused it but the only links they had were those social bookmarks. Ive seen a couple of sites deindexed with zero links so theres a lot of weird stuff going on right now with G

BlG has been great so far

I just had a spammy autoblog aka. Spammy Blog manhandled by the Panda. Didn't lose too much sleep over it other than it was actually doing fairly decent before Panda kneed Spammy in the balls. Such is life on the interwebz, but then I saw your free membership. I wanted to give it a shot, I know these links are kind of spammy too, and have been getting a bad rap. So lets test this and see what happens.

As it turns out, pretty well. Spammy Blog was on his knees after the altercation but slowly and surely the profiles and comments started getting him back up.

After nearly 3 weeks Spammy Blog has 3 keywords on the second page, several pages 4-6, and a couple that are pretty far down still.

I'm actually really impressed with BlG, overall it's a breeze to use, and I look forward to seeing what you guys and gals come up.

I'm VERY impressed with Back Link genie - it's really very simple to setup, and overv the past 3 weeks I've already generated over 1000 backlinks to various web properties I'm promoting - testing the effectiveness of these links over the next two weeks and as soon as I start seeing sales from test sites - I'll certainly be signing up for a premium account!

Highly recommended!

Gotta say i am indeed impressed by Back Link Genie.
At first i was a bit skeptical. Sure, people were happy about the product, but i always have to see it with my own eyes.

The best thing about it is being able to "set and forget". The scheduler alone can save you hours and hours of time. I travel a lot so it is a great solution for me.

Reporting is fine as well. No fuzz, everything you need is right there.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a way to get backlinks AND save time and money generating those backlinks.

We just signed up for the $137/month. You sealed the deal by dropping from $199/month and introducing new features. Looking forward to using this!

Just a quick question: I know it says, "To associate URLs to specific anchors they must be formatted as:http://www.yoururlhere.com{anchor1|anchor2|anchor3}"

But do I enter all that in the URL box and leave the anchor box blank?

So the URL box would be like:

http://www.url1.com{anchor1|anchor2|anchor3}
http://www.url2.com{anchor4|anchor5|anchor6}
etc

Is that right?

So here is a review of my service so far:

I've been running BLG directly to one of my internal pages with a fair amount of competition for the kw I am going after. After about 2 weeks of straight blog comments I went from unranked to about 60. I then switched it up to xrumer for a week and went to the low 60's then unfound now bouncing around the 60's again. I think that the xrumer links are getting found much faster than the blog comments, or that the blog comments dont have a whole lot of juice, as expected by auto approve lits.

But with the amount of services you can get for $67, its a no brainer. I will be using this service for all of my low competition sites. I don't think there is any service that does as much for the money. All in all I give them 4.5/5 :banana_sml:

for all the people talking about not getting web 2.0s indexed. after the 4 day blast all 13 properties are indexed and non were deleted. use a pic, a youtube video and a properly spun article and rule :D

the problem I have is I have done extensive testing ( still doing it though ) and the web2.0's and multi day blasts are not doing anything for my rankings and some actually dropped using the 4 day blasts.

However, using just the blog comments, xrumer, or high PR xrumer has done nothing but rank rank rank rank me....

Any before anyone says anything, YES I know how to properly test shit and have done all the legwork needed to make sure these were solid tests.

Nothing on the 2.0's and nothing on the multi day projects. Day 2, 3 & 4 were pointing to the 2.0's and each other correct?

Where did you point the individual projects "blog comments, xrumer, or high PR xrumer" that made a positive difference? Money site and or other properties you developed elsewhere?

I'm more than curious because for me BLG in the future could be more valuable using a subset of their entire offerings vs. solid months of back to back 4 day projects. Yah testing continues.

I used their default 4 day project. Im not on their site atm so however that is set up is what I used and YES the site went down in rankings. The normal web 2.0's just did nothing for it.

Just realized that I was not getting emails when this thread was posted to. Have not checked it in a while so here goes.

Thanks for everyone's comments there are too many to quote.

Yes that is perfect.

Is BLG.com down for anyone else?

Yes our web server crashed for a few hours early that morning. Everything is back up and running fine since the crash. No projects were affected.

We have seen this as well. The better spun content and adding images and videos has helped indexing and stickiness.

There are so many factors in ranking a site that to pinpoint one link type (web 2.0 in this case) as to the cause of a rise or drop in rankings is just about impossible to do. However, web 2.0's have been a proven method of gaining quality in content back links.

We encourage anyone doing back link building not to rely on any one type of link. Our system offers a diverse variety of back link types. It is up to each user to determine what their back link needs are and schedule out their projects accordingly. You are not required to run any specific type of project if you do not want to. But you should be using some of each project type.

We have been hard at work on our next round of updates. Our unexpected server move set us back a couple of weeks but these next updates will be well worth it. New project types are also in the works that will add to the link types you can build. Stay tuned!!

Hey - I love your guys service, so no need to be offended. I was one of your first customers and still am today so that speaks volumes.

However, I have been in this game since 1995 and I can tell you your right on some aspects of "There are so many factors in ranking a site that to pinpoint one link type (web 2.0 in this case) as to the cause of a rise or drop in rankings is just about impossible to do.", but you can accomplish this somewhat and I have been doing it not only with your service, but others similar to yours, namely LinkPushing.net and another service ( cant name right now ).

What I can tell you is this, I have done MULTIPLE projects of yours/LinkPushing/other service and I can tell you without a doubt that anything regarding default settings on web2.0 link schemes with spun article content isn't doing shit compared to just doing blog comments, xrumer, and high PR link wheels. How do I know? I've only tested it with 3 different services and 60 different sites over 2 full months, sites setup around the same niches, kw's, different servers, same domain reg, and same article setup, etc.

I stand by what I say and I did mention I am not done with the study. Im not here to bash your service, if that was the case I would have canceled months ago. I am just stating these words in exact:

Default settings on non original and spun content regarding web 2.0 links/link wheels/link pryamids are not doing much these days and can even drop your rankings.

I can pinpoint this to this 1 type of link, without a doubt. I also have confirmed this with several people on this forum as well. Its nothing against BLG at all. In a couple months, Google will prob favor this again and those that stuck with it will prob. win out again.

I am just saying what I have found with solid testing and data over a 2 month period over 60 domains and 3 related services using their default, non original spun content that is provided in their system as default for web 2.0's, that is all.

If anyone wants to question this, I glady encourage you to actually do a case study using the default settings instead of regurgitation old info and theory and see for yourself. If your not actively split testing these things, then you have no basis to state comments like "its working for other people" or "web 2.0's have been a proven method of gaining quality in content back links". Things change, algo's change, competition changes, etc. You need to stay on top of the game daily and not just think its still working. This is why earlier I said "However, using just the blog comments, xrumer, or high PR xrumer has done nothing but rank rank rank rank me...."

Anyone open to their own case study here?

Man I thought xrumer links were dead :) At least I read that somewhere.

No offense was taken at all. In fact we appreciate info like this as it allows us to improve our service by targeting areas that need attention. We are happy to have customer's like you that provide us the feedback. You are right that changes happen very fast and one day a certain link type seems to work better than others and then the next it seems to flip flop. We are constantly updating and adding new features to stay on top of the game. We have a minor update today and another one tomorrow.

Today we added the spin button to many input fields that you may want to spin. Tomorrow we will be updating our 2.0 projects to use unique usernames. No longer will your subdomains be identical for the sites that use the username for the subdomain. We will also be updating our PR profile linkwheels to include a bit of text in the signature along with the 2 links in the next week.

Again, we are always open to new ideas. If there is a feature you want to see let us know and we will do our best to make it happen.

I could use some help. I sent 2 messages through the contact page on BLG about billing and I haven't gotten a response to either one. I am still getting billed out at the $199 price point. I have been a customer since early on. Can you guys fix this and credit me for the difference or somehow compensate me?

PM me if you need more info.
