Black Guy Kills 9 Honkeys At Work...Cue Up Him Being The Victim

Race is no longer a rampant societal ill, yes there still is prejudice and racisim(across the board), but it's not the defining issue of our time. In fact racism has been pimped, and tapped for crazy paper, how you think that grease ball Sharpton pays for those suits? The media is the sound machine, and I hate when the race card is pulled like a fire alarm for every issue.

^ Exactly. Repped you for this. Let the truth be known.

Absolutely. Anytime you make false claims against someone, you should be punished as if you committed the action. If it's a civil claim, you can be sued. If you make a rape claim and the guy is facing 15 years, you should face 15 years for lying about it. Too many people will destroy a person (or company's)reputation because there is nothing to stop them from doing so. How would you feel if it was your company that you busted your ass to build for 40 years to watch someone try and destroy just for the fuck of it?

She looks like she got beat with an ugly stick, then slapped with an ugly tree. Maybe that's the reason he went nuts - he just couldn't go home to her ass anymore.

False claims should be punished. In fact, if you think claims of racism are bad, you haven't seen how fucked up the system is when it comes to rape accusations.

That being said, how sure are you that the accusations in this case are false?

Aside from the fact that it wouldn't matter if the company was as racist as the KKK, you don't murder 8 people if they don't like you, here's what we do know:

  • He was hired by the company
  • He was promoted in the company
  • He was caught stealing on video and allowed to resign, rather than be fired
  • His own union rep said he had never mentioned any problems
  • He never filed a complaint
  • Every other minority at the company said they've never had problems
  • His girlfriend initially said she wasn't aware of any problems when first interviewed (check AP story)
  • The only "evidence" of racism is the desperate word of a mass murderer after he was cornered by the police

Is that enough evidence for you, or do you think maybe the whole world is in on the conspiracy?

People are conditioned to see racism anytime a black person feels slighted. Ask yourself this question: if Bill Clinton was black, how many people would have complained that the media was only going after the Monica Lewinsky story because he's black? Or that Clinton was only impeached because he was black - that this would have never happened to a white president? Think about that. Anytime someone dislikes Obama they are accused of being racist, but people have disliked every president, and the media has gone after all of them too (not enough, in my opinion).

The point is, anytime a black person is suspected of any wrongdoing the accusations immediately fly that it's only because they're black, or that somewhere there is a racist old white guy pulling the strings. The reality is, some black people fuck up and should be held to the same standard as everyone else when they do - no excuses. Only then will people stop resenting them for any real (or perceived) special treatment.

Unarmed Gunman,

Your complaining about the media making this into a race thing, but you were the guy who chose the word "Honkeys" in your headline.

Why?

Did you think it would get more page views by playing up the racial angle? Did you think, because the majority of the people on this forum is white... that using the racial words for whites and not using the racial word for blacks would incite the emotions of the forum members to read the post?

If so, then you have your answer why the media plays up racial stories involving blacks/whites the way they do... maybe they've come to the conclusion that inciting the emotions of the majority population would get more page views?

We're all marketers here (or pretend to be)... it should be obvious what's being done.

So you're saying because some idiot on a forum uses intentionally inciting phrasing in a headline, that it's ok for our media to do it? Shouldn't we expect them to be a little more professional and impartial than me? Shouldn't we hold them to a higher standard...? That's the point - get it?

Besides, I always thought the word was funny, and am not aware of any white people that are actually offended by it. Plus, I Always wanted to try and use it in a sentence so there you go. I'll just assume you can't disagree with any of the actual substance of my posts in this thread though if that's the only thing you responded with.

Read again. Where did I saw it was ok? Where? And why should I expect an organization that allows Acai Rebill advertising on it's properties to hold any level of professionalism? It's always been about generating eyeballs. If you want to take out the profit motive, then go watch government news.

And I didn't say whites would be offended... I said it would incite emotions. That's what properly chosen words do. Every single copywriter knows this. That CA$HVERTISING book (the one so many here get a hard-on for) also mentions this.

And I would never called you an idiot... I don't have enough info about you to make that judgement.
