Bitcoin breaks $200

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137.0

I'll pay 10,000 bitcoins for a couple of pizzas.. like maybe 2 large ones so I have some left over for the next day. I like having left over pizza to nibble on later. You can make the pizza yourself and bring it to my house or order it for me from a delivery place, but what I'm aiming for is getting food delivered in exchange for bitcoins where I don't have to order or prepare it myself, kind of like ordering a 'breakfast platter' at a hotel or something, they just bring you something to eat and you're happy!

I like things like onions, peppers, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, pepperoni, etc.. just standard stuff no weird fish topping or anything like that. I also like regular cheese pizzas which may be cheaper to prepare or otherwise acquire.

If you're interested please let me know and we can work out a deal.

Thanks,
Laszlo

A company has some assets tied to it, capital and the ability to generate income, profits and a return. None of that applies to bitcoins

Google Bre-X and you will see that sometimes that assumption is incorrect. And sometimes incorrect assumptions are held for a long period of time.

Bitcoin has an economy relying on it. Silk Road being a part of that economy. There is definitely a price floor, I don't know how low it is.

Bitcoin Hyperdeflation - Business Insider

So a few weeks ago, a pizza might have cost you one Bitcoin. Today it might only cost you a fifth of a Bitcoin, which sounds great, but then if you're looking at the above chart, why would you spend anything?

Why would you buy a pizza (or pot or anything else) when tomorrow your Bitcoin will be worth more? With this kind of chart, you'd be insane to do anything but horde your coins.

So yes, all the hype is great for some folks in the ecosystem, but ultimately there's a reason that over time, government prefer to see their currency slowly depreciate. A surging currency leads to hoarding which kills real transactions.

Can anyone advise on the best funding method for MTgox? Seems like you need an okpay account and you then have to signup to another 3rd party (most of who ive never heard of) and they may charge up to 10% to deposit?

Also on the wire transfer page it says the need photo ID verification etc when you transfer funds? Can anyone advise?

i wish I were there on the other side to accept those coins. i keep asking myself why didn't I buy ? Why wasn't I there? Why didn't i hear of bitcoin in 2010? Why why why like that Louis CK bit
stfu and stop being such a peasant. You remind me of someone I know who also asks 'why' all the time and always complains about the past and that he would be rich if only blah blah blah. Some people got lucky and cashed out, big deal, good for them. You should be focusing on making money in a way which is based on solid principles and not done on speculation. That's what counts in the long run.

I was able to wire 10k without any photo verification. You will need your wire statement provided by the bank for verification.

Also - shouldn't your status now read: 0.01688 BTC Hand Jobs?

If I charged bitcoins for my handjobs I wouldn't be able to give any handjobs. All my time would be spent updating what they cost.

I haven't bought any huge amounts but I used https://www.bitinstant.com, paid cash at Walgreens and had the money in MTGox 5 minutes later.

If you live in a decent sized city you may check https://localbitcoins.com/, there are also people on Craigslist selling them for cash in my town.
