Payment

As you can see from within the OP, we would pay the publisher had they given us their legitimate information even after the fact they were busted for their false and misleading identity. We still have not heard back from the OP nor have they provided their real information. We were not aware of the fake account until strange anonymous phone calls and Chinese symbols started popping up in the emails. That's when suspicions grew and a further investigation was warranted.

Again to the OP, please provide your legitimate information. If you do not feel this is necessary, they your payment will be withed and forfeited.

^
In fact, it's not, Google Translate Here: Google Translate

"oh, so much chinese in this thread, it's not good to cheating for publishers or networks, we should stop this togather. but other way, these guys in BLACKHAT, can any one of you say it loudly and honestly 'MY ASS IS CLEAN'? "

"your are cheating google / yahoo, or cheating advertisers, even your family when they asked you 'what's your job exactly?'"

"is your site really matching better than all of other sites to be 1st of the search results?"

for all bros, i mean real bros, be smartter and keep your ass clean at any time.

look at THESE GUYS, too simple, sometimes naive.

these's nothing can be REALLY TRUE on the internet, every bit of 0 and 1, can be cheated.

Traffic

Affiliatewise... these guys aren't bad. Aren't they mostly incent though?

Honestly, the traffic so far has panned out after the advert investigated the traffic. However, I suspect TM bidding as it was a highly branded offer or stolen CC's and the charge backs have not hit yet.

Either way, we have to do our diligence and do things on the up and up. If we don't self regulate our publishers and allow blatant fraud, identity theft or just not verifying data then we expose ourselves to FTC and further government intervention. Not to mention the IRS would not be to keen on us reporting earnings on a fake account.

Weeding out shitty affiliates is tough but you have to do it right out of the gate... Do you require your new affiliates to fill out a trade reference form? Your better off having a reputation for only accepting 1/5 affiliates that apply.

Oh and watch out for those prepaid gift cards... they are a dozey and most advertisers consider it friendly fraud. Good luck bros!

Sneaky Chinese just wont let go :)

As someone who has just come back from Hong Kong a few weeks back...which is now full of mainland Chinese...i'm not at all surprised that one is trying to pull a swifty. Chinese are just totally mercenary.

Ban his ass and use his payment to take the office out for Booze and Strippers IMHO. Oh and send me a picture when you do :)

I can see if you're filling out your own offer with a prepaid how that could be considered fraud, but if a legit user uses a prepaid I should still get paid on the conversion. It's not my fault they used a prepaid and it's not my fault you lose money on the first sale and make it up with the first rebill. I'd be pretty pissed if I got accused of fraud when it's a legit user.

楼上那哥们真逗,还这么认真,帮着翻译过来了,当代活雷锋啊,立正,敬礼。礼毕,睡觉

I guess I agree with you but why would an advertiser allow incent on a CC submit? Can someone please explain that to me?!

So, if you decided not to pay the OP, why don't you refund the money back to the advertiser? At this point, you're the one that's doing the stealing if you don't provide the money to the publisher NOR the advertiser.

You're a cheap network.

But what if the user agrees to a continuity charge within the terms and makes this charge with their prepaid debit card? When the advertiser goes to rebill--NOTHING. Best bet is to have technology that doesn't allow these cards wouldn't you say?

Yea, that technology exists and is already being used by most advertisers. They just ban the bin numbers found on the most popular visa/amex gift cads.
