Bevo Media Launch

Hope to get approved for the beta soon, especially if this thing will download per-keyword/per-ad CPCs straight from the networks. Updating those is the biggest pain I have with P202.

hey it says 'updating stats failed!' please report this incident. Is this because I'm using affiliate networks that I inputted where I'm not using your tracking?

ALSO
I entered my affiliate passwords into the selfhosted version of the site on rackspace and then I went to beta.bevomedia and my passwords were stored there

That's not exactly what I was expecting when I chose self hosted!

You have my immediate and sincerest apology. This was an accident, it was my fault, and will be fixed immediately -- Your selfhost version does not download stats on it's own, there's no way we could provide that in a selfhost version. Our servers do that for you, just like T202 does it, and that's the service we're basing our business model on, but we honestly intended for a clear, distinct warning to show up in all places of our platform before any data is sent to our server. That warning is in place, but due to a bug, disabled.

We have disabled all API calls, the ability to add accounts, and all API updates until this is resolved. The patch should be live tomorrow morning, and will not require an update to your selfhost version. Bevo will give you errors about updating in the meantime. Again, I apologize for the error.

You can opt out of all Bevo Live services at install time. Step 3 of the installer gives you the option to explicitly disable every feature that communicates with Bevo servers, at all. If you've already installed, open your config.ini and, near the top under "[Application]", add the line
Code:
NoPhoneHome=True
No automatic updates, no blog posts or RSS feeds, no images references or tracking pixels or even a ping, we see nothing. We really hope you'll try our live services and like them, but the option is there to opt out.

Thanks for the apologies, I understand that it's technically challenging to provide, but to say there is no way you could do it is false, there's definitely a way you could do that - what's stopping you or someone else? But yes thanks for the open source code that was provided.

This is related: all affiliate networks should setup their API's like Neverblue ads does, so 3rd party services like this don't have access to your whole account and password, just a read-only-rights revokable API key.

WOOOOWW HOLD THE FUCK UP! nah nah, I'm speachless atm...

i talked to ryan and it may look like there have been some problems installing with wiredtree. If they are your host and you have gotten the to install correctly or it wont install, message me on aim : italiano4sure

my application is pending atm and i am with wt, what was your problem?

I'm in, thx Ryan :)

One thing,
I added a CPA network to the My Networks section, but there doesn't seem to be a way to remove them (I added an old disabled a/c by accident)
I'm using the online interface, btw.

Also on the My Networks page, it might be nice to have the Edit button (edit_blue.jpg) a different color, green, maybe?

Getting a dead link at Bevo Media - Your Internet Marketing Homebase

Also, how do I add tracking parameters to my ads from the beginning, before my accounts and campaigns are in the system?

I'm finding the interface "confusing" to navigate.

Under the "Keyword Tracker" tab I am getting duplicate accounts for each PPC network.

I want the ability to force download stats and automatically update my campaigns with sub ids (like T202 Pro).

CJ stats do not update (API issue?).

Widen this baby up - i'm on a 23" monitor with plenty of extra room!

A proper notification has been added to the Add Accounts pages, and API functionality has been restored. API was disabled just over 12 hours, apologies again for the inconvenience. I just pushed v192 live with various bugfixes from the last few days, if you have a BevoLive account synced you should be prompted to upgrade, otherwise you can force an upgrade by clicking on "Selfhost Admin Panel" in the "Resources" link box on the right side of your screen.

What page was that link on? Thanks, please respond here or just drop it in a bug report.

Also, how do I add tracking parameters to my ads from the beginning, before my accounts and campaigns are in the system?
If you're using our campaign editor, there's a checkbox to automatically add tracking parameters. If you're not using our campaign editor, you can get a link for your campaign with parameters embedded from the "Keyword Tracker -> Get Codes" page. Does this answer your question?

Please send us some more specific feedback on this, we're aware of the complexity and doing our best to brainstorm ways to combat it.

Please submit a bug report or contact us so we can figure out what's going on. Is this on selfhost? How many duplicates do you see? Thanks for your help debugging this!

We'll add this to the list, good idea, thanks!

CJ stats pull broke over the weekend, I'm not sure why yet, but I'm looking into it this afternoon.

We're overhauling the entire interface "soon", but it's not our top priority at the moment.

Is there a way to edit "offers". Say I want to switch out an offer for a campaign that is already created -- how would I get into the list of offers that I am already running?

allcelldeals- Yes there is - you just need to create the campaign with the offer rotator first, then you will have the ability change the ratio 0-100% of each offer and also have the ability to input new offers. This way you dont need to switch out the link you have of your current campaign.

Alright just accepted a ton more people. Sorry about the delay. I wanted to fix up all the current found bugs before we let more in. Let me know if you need any help.

When is the next round of approvals coming? Already signed up and PM'd you. Look forward to checking it out!

Love the features man, but the UI leaves much to be desired. Hire a UI designer to pro it up for you as well as your website. Eye sore :(

Not taking anything away from the quality of your product though which is pretty much unmatched.

Are you fucking serious? Bevo has by far the most polished interface I've seen on anything affiliate related. Bar, fucking, none. By the way Ryan+Lee, buy your designer a beer or ten - he's obviously the shit.
