Interesting.. and you've run all the back-of-the-envelope math on storage needs as it scales out?

It's certainly not a php-mysql feature... to scale it's gotta go the unconventional-nosql-db-and-distributed-filesystem route.

it's not as complex as you think.

SQLServer + ASP.NET = running since 2008. Ad serving and optimization data storage vary from those of aggregate reporting needs, we flirted with denormalized data for reporting but everything ended up remaining normalized in the end.

First network or tracking platform that releases multivariate is gonna have to warm-up their check signing hand.

But this is an intensely difficult feature. That's why it doesn't exist yet.

See above response.

It may not be hard but it sure as shit wasn't easy :D

Anybody else finding the landing page and offer rotators confusing as hell?

Ryan, can you provide some instructions on when and how to use each?

Specifically, I have a PPV campaign setup w/ Media Traffic and it currently direct links to the offer. I just created a slick lander and I'd like to test it against the direct link. How would I go about doing this (preferably with detailed instructions since none currently exist)?

Truffles,
I just sent you a PM and responded to a few of your posts in other threads. Just hit me up my man, I'm always online, just not always on the forums :)

To Bevo Folks:

I primarily use Facebook and other social media for my campaigns, and am struggling to understand what kind of value Bevo adds for me. It seems mostly geared toward Search, and I can't figure out what kind of extra data / capabilities Bevo will give me that I'm not already getting from regular sub ID tracking via my networks. Switching to Bevo has a non-trivial cost in terms of time to learn and implement it, so tell me why I should do it! :)

For those of us who don't use AdWords, AdCenter, etc. can you please lay out a couple of the core tangible benefits of adopting Bevo? Maybe most of the really valuable stuff is only available in the premium addition?

Thanks, much appreciated.

Fiver - Day parting coming soon.

AffApprentice - You track your kws for Facebook and or any other non listed traffic sources using the Media Buy Tracker. This operates somewhat like T202 where you input your own campaign/adgroup/ad variation manually. You still get your networks stats synced in automatically so no need for pixels and/or manual subID upload.

As far as Bevo advantages... we do an entirely different tracking method than T202, which eliminates wasted clicks due to crashed servers etc. Our platform was also made to scale, allowing high volume publishers to use our system.

Of course, we are aware that Facebook is a huge traffic source, which is why we have a major addition coming in the future. specifically regarding facebook. If the advantages arent clear cut regarding facebook now, then they sure will be when the social media editor is done.

As many of you may know from our booth at ASW, I have spent the past 2.5 years developing a platform aimed at being a one stop shop for affiliate marketers. Basically, I architected this as what I considered being my "dream platform" as a marketer (tracker for PPC/PPV/media, full campaign editor for major platforms, network management, etc.) all interconnected via a central API, syncing exact stats and management capabilities onto a single platform. And before anyone asks, yes self hosted/open source platforms are available.
I'm assuming open source in this context means that those who have premium memberships can see the source, make modifications, etc, rather than that the platform is released under a license like the GPL or BSD.

(Not a complaint - just hoping for a bit of clarification)

Certainly looks like a powerful platform, and I'm looking into switching over to it from Prosper202 now. I imagine quite a bit of work has gone into this!

Hey Ryan, do you have an ETA on when the social media editor is coming? Thanks for all the work you put into this, looks very promising.

We are going to get the product 100% out of beta before we get the social media editor live. Need to be a great reader before you write a novel :) Should be making a big announcement soon.

Bevo is the isssh and Ryan Rocks. Been using it for a few days and what a breath of fresh air from p202

Hey Guys - Just an update. We are about to start rolling out new features and have a made a few more partnerships with the networks. Should be a pretty active month for Bevo!

you need to let us know which networks you pull from.. surely you dont pull from all ppv networks. Would help in knowing if this is gonna be shit or gold. for example, I could care less what people bid on for DCPV stuff.
