Beats Pro by Dre FTW

DRE SED DEY SUND DA BESTEST N THEY LOOK SEXAY SO FKU!!! Ahem.

Tried Beats, sound good, but not worth $400 or whatever they cost, I keep going back to the trusty old Sony MDR-7506/V6.

Ugly as fuck, but industry standard for, recording, radio, studio, home listening etc. for a reason. Costs like $60. I mix/master music occasionally and I found these to be more neutral and accurate than most cans. The bass is also plentiful but not overpowering and overemphasized as the BBD.

Plus FYI, if anyone here claiming they bought Beats by Dre headphones cheap online or from Asia, there's a good chance they are a knockoff. There's a website which I can't be fucked to source which shows that they look and sound 98% to the real thing but are of course cheap rip offs.

I've used my over-ear Bose headphones regularly for the last 2 or 3 years and they have been great.

sennheiser owns those piece of shit dre headphones. lol i cant believe you bought into their marketing. almost 4 years and my hd555s are still going strong. im pretty sure they were the best purchase ive ever made as far as price/quality

Was kinda bummed out when the cord ripped off the jack when I pulled the cord once. Real gangstas on the streets is active, how ya gonna run around with these on and worry about the cord breaking so easy. I'm kinda surprised DRE is putting his name on these. Oh wait yes I can because they're cheap and they probably make a pretty damn big margin on the product. Oh and they fucking leak like crazy. But they're comfortable as hell and everyone recognizes em .. so bla

I just bought myself a pair for mixing. But I don't just use one type of headphones to mix, I use multiple headphones. I also didn't get that pair that's ALL white. Got the "Studio" pair, its like a white/silver on the outside. I like them, definitely overpriced but whatever.

I have Bose OE Audio Headphones - Bose Headsets and Headphones , and they're awesome. They sound a lot better than the Beats by Dre, and are pretty darn comfortable.

I got them mainly for the design. Best looking headphones IMO. I've had them for a while now and no regrets so far. Sound quality is very nice although they do leak a bit, but nothing terrible.

I know Sennheiser makes higher quality, better priced products, but you gotta admit that the Dre's look better.

I like to keep my good looking pieces of plastic under $300.
