i c,...i got a bunch of clicks from miva,...like a lot! about half of my clicks are in the .05-.10 region while the others are below .05

as for the <br> thing, thanks for the suggestion xrproto, but it didn't really change anything=(

Try putting the code for the ads with in the same div as your navigation. seperated by a <br>

I'm not sure where your code is for the ads that show up under your navigation.

I'm not sure but it looks like you didn't close two <div>s before the body closed. You might need to add two more </div> before the </body> to close those.

hey guys,
i recently tried out a little of ppc,..and i lost money:crying: Albeit, i did not lose a lot(about $25), nonetheless, it is still money especially since i have very little to spend since i am just getting into this. I put keywords up in searchfeed, 7search and miva each with $25 in them and miva got me search results, but pretty much no click throughs. i suspect some click fraud going on because one IP has been coming back in 17 times and others 4-9xs. As for 7search and searchfeed, i haven't getting many clicks on my ads at all. maybe my listings aren't catchy enough or something, but i have generally #1 positions(if not, at least top 3) and am not getting a lot of clicks(combined total of 8 clicks) of course, maybe i picked a bad niche with not enough searchers or maybe not enough keywords. (about 200)

here is my site, whatever i don't care, not making much anyways... www.travel-nursingonline.com Also, even with the 8clicks(which i trust more than the miva clicks), i have gotten no click throughs. Any and all suggestions would be great. thanks.
7Search doesn't display as relevant ads as Google AdSense or Miva in my opinion, maybe just stick with what you know!

No problem.

I might be off but I can't find closings for <div id="content"> & <div class="entry">

You might consider making the file size of your images smaller. They are making your site load slow for me.

ahh...thanks jdog..a bunch...never considered that.

anyways, update, today, i got more traffic because i added a bunch more of keywords,...some not exactly totally relevant...huff and i made 5.95 ..but spend probably $7 or something like that..huff(Not counting MIVA)

maybe i should just start over and find a new niche...put a dent in my wallet though=( prob got around $100 left to spend...we'll see

anymore suggestions would be greatly appreciated

hey jon..got any suggest?

edit: i say this very carefully. i always get scared when asking jon questions=P

Why? Jon don't bite. He kills. :ak:

sorry, i'm not sure if i posted this already,..i thought i did, but maybe it didn't go through. i know this thread is pretty much dead, but i just wanted a suggestion for whether you guys think i should continue to pursue this niche/site..maybe i need better ad placement? more pictures? Or should i scrap the whole site and niche and try to find a new starting poitn? or just get out of arbitrage?

I wouldn't give up. You can't expect to start from scratch and be successful in a day. I definiately don't think you should give up on PPC arbitrage, just try hitting it from a different angle... weather that means a different niche, or targeting different traffic, or a different style landing page... that's on you, I can't tell you 'cause I don't know your niche, ads or landing page. There is definiately money in arbitrage, and it may not be easy as pie... but it is for sure one of the less difficult ways to make money online. Just keep workin' at it.
