Anyone here play Eve?



I'm currently located in the black rise region where I have a small corp with a few friends. Black rise is packed with interesting action unlike other regions, due to faction warfare and proximity of jita

Frigate/destroyer solo roam or small gang roams is the best I've ever felt about anything in this game. No missions/mining/trading, just pvp action every time I log on.
 
Haven't had time to play for a few months, but I do enjoy it a lot. <3 frigates, I have a bunch of them, probably 10 PVE fit Tristans, because nothing is more intense than soloing a level 4 in it, they can own anything, but if I get stased and swarmed I'm fucked. Got a few Saurum Magnates for null exploration and salvaging, and an Astero I scored in one of those drone anoms in my first week of playing.
I don't really do PVP yet, but I'll surely get into that when I have better skills.

Wow, can't believe it's been 8 months since I last logged in. There's unlimited skill queue now? Awww yiss! Here's some of my favorite ships :3 Well except the Domi, hate that thing.

Also it appears my corp is pretty much abandoned, so yeah, if anyone wants a 3mil xp noob and has a cool corp preferably based close to Jita or Dodi, I'm in. Name's MechaJeb Kerman. I probably won't contribute anything but occasional dickrolls and pictures of Helen Thomas though.
 
I have realized after 3 days of nonstop play, that i would have to continue to pay for this to play.

yea i gave it up after three days, guerilla said it wasn't for retards but the amount of time and money i would have to put down on this bitch, by my calculations is too damn high. So fuck that shit, If anyone has fifa 15 autogrid, or some other game that doesn't require monthly pay hit me up, letz play.

Well, Iskies aren't that hard to get for newbs, especially now when there are no more loot spew containers and the sites are in wormholes as well, scanned one down in hi sec, and 3 wh jumps later, jackpot :3

Too bad I got only 57mil out of this, because I blew up most of the containers, as I only have lvl 3 archeology and hacking skills, and because I was in an Imicus I put together for 3 mil. I bet I'd get at least double that if I'd take my Astero.

I thought those containers belonged to people and they had rights to shoot you down if you attacked one of them, am i not correct?

No no, Relic and Data sites are NPC, and you hack the containers with a relic or data analyzer, pretty much like this, try doing the tutorial and practicing a bit in hi sec.

Well it's not like you actually have to grind skills to train, just queue them and forget about it for a day. I have to wait 4 days for my Covert cloak and then 10 more for an affordable ship I could fit it to. Total schedule is 72 days.

That trailer was what got me to sign up, I invisioned my self yelling "fuck her right in the pussy" the moment i started to attack. However all i did was mine, So i yell that every time i pick up some pyrorexers :/

They have not made the right playing system with mining. It is mostly made for afk people. You do not have any right challenges, risks or special awards. It's like starting to play chess, but all you do is arrange the chess figures at the beginning of the game for other people.

Join brave newbies asap, get on comms and chat. You will benefit much even if you are the lone wolf type of person. Eve is a sandbox and finding your way of play may not be obvious to you right away. Playing along with other people is the greatest part of this game.
 
Fuck you, whoever originally bumped this thread. I WANT MY LIFE BACK!

I guess the saving grace is I get 50% discount on PLEX because I live in a poor country :D
