Anyone ever hear of Astonish Results? (SEM Company that does insurance)

Astonish Results is Not Just an SEM Company

I can't thank you enough for this site and the posts I have read on Astonish Results. I was actually considering using their service but of course it sounded too good to be true and it is. Another scam....
That kind of output of funds sounded ridiculous to me and why sign such a lengthy contract if they are providing a service with results there is not need for a 5 year contract. I have only been in the business for the last 3 years, I was a nurse before and am looking for a legitimate way to optimize my website and get quality leads and traffic. It is not easy, I currently buy internet leads which as oversold and a nightmare.
Thanks again for sites like this, it saves honest people from getting scammed.........it's too cool the way you busted the two guys working together from the same IP address and identified him in the photo....you should be detectives.....nice work!
:);)

Insurancegurl,

To be clear, the gentleman identified was not solicited by Astonish. He discovered the thread and posted on his own accord and we regret the fact that he used two different personas.

We have a policy of transparency and anyone who contributes to a thread is required to identify that they work for us, whether it's on WickedFire or anywhere else. Even if our services aren't right for you personally, it's unfair to boil down the work we do for hundreds of other agents as a "scam."

Best of luck with your website and optimization, there are many industry resources available.

LOL Dude, you realize you reported Jon's post? He is the fucking owner of this place and may well publicly rape your company if he damn feels like - no mod is going to edit his shit.

Soupyone,

Going forward, we will respond to unfair criticism on forums and elsewhere, it's important as we continue to grow and adapt. Yes, we manage SEO and SEM for clients but I'm not sure what's giving you the impression that's all we do.

I'm sorry you don't see the value proposition in our services, but never having worked with Astonish and considering you are involved in selling leads, it seems a bit misguided to call the system "worthless" based on a sales presentation.

As for our client websites, I can't comment on individual site performance or what we're doing behind the scenes, but we've maintained a 95% (+/- 2%) client retention rate since opening in 2006.

My apologies to Jon, I am only trying to clarify what our business does. We fully understand the influence of WickedFire and only want transparency and truth.

Stop trying to spin this.

1. I do NOT sell leads and have NEVER sold an Insurance lead in my life. Me generating leads for my own use (not insurance leads) and selling leads are two entirely different things. And I've dealt with you guys before, through several phone calls and a sales presentation. You have a "95%" retention rate because you're hosting their websites and have them tied into a long-term contract.

Anyone can look at some of your client websites and see that you're over charging. If one of those firms hired a real Internet Marketing firm like Bruce Clay or PepperJam Search for the same amount of money their results would be FAR better. Yet, kudos to you. It's not easy to be so successful in business.

Just remember, success in business does not equate to a good value proposition. I think Enzyte proves that.

My mistake for falsely categorizing what you do.

To reiterate, we are not just a website and marketing company, we offer CRM tools, training and more. Pepperjam and Bruce Clay are excellent services, no doubt, but it's hard to understand the full suite of services we offer, and how they work with the specific demands of the insurance industry, unless you become a client.

You make an excellent point with the Enzyte comment, but client growth and profitability do equate to a good value proposition.
