On the firing line
What I would like to do is combine about 6 different keyword lists into one super list. Problem is, I know that there are several dupes. Is there a way to use Excel to automatically remove the extras, so that only one of each keyword / phrase remains?

Thanks!

I heard that there's this thing called "Google". If you aren't familiar with it, after you click the link below, you will be taken to a page with a bunch of links and short descriptions of the sites. Beware that some of the listings near the top and right column are advertisements. It's a pretty neat service. They claim there were over 2 million replies to my query, and that it only took an amazing .51 seconds to accumulate the date. Give it a try:
remove duplicate excel - Google Search

Seriously, though.... I was actually just playing around with the exact same issue today. Problem is, I suck so bad with excel that I couldn't even get it to work after following the tutorials.....

maybe if you didn't spend 5 mins writing this post you could figure it out

I use TextPad which is great for manipulating keyword lists. It does everything a normal text editor will do, but has a few useful extras like dup removal, powerful find & replace, regular expression stuff, etc.

I still use Excel but I find Textpad is the fastest, easiest way to do some quick keyword related tasks.

for advanced excel filtering, merging, etc. there's nothing better than digdb excel plugin - digdb.com It's not free, but well worth it
