A Power Vacuum So Strong I Can Feel It 7,000 Miles Away

It's like a bad fair ride you can't get off of.

Let me guess, we go into Syria hunting ISIS and ...ooops, just happened to topple the Syrian government in the process.

Yeah, except this one isn't going to be like Iraq, where we watch a "shock & awe" campaign on TV, and share some Youtube vids around. If US soldiers step foot on Syrian soil, which is basically required to rid the world of ISIS, then this is going to be really, really fucken bad, for pretty near everyone in the world.

There's already been news reports saying one of the top ISIS guys said "see you in New York soon" to a friend, and shit like that. So you can expect an ISIS terrorist attack on US soil soon, which will prompt more of a police state, etc.

Just watch. The US govt is making a very important, final move here, and they seem to be hell bent on doing it. You can see the elevation in propaganda over the past couple months, warming the population up to the "fact" that Syria must be invaded. That rhetoric is only going to get louder.

ISIS needs to be utterly destroyed as it is the perfect oppurtunity to repair the damage, caused by the Iraq war's failures, to the psychological fear of post-vietnam military hardware.

Our government is quite possibly quite incompetent. If they cannot see the physical reality of the capability to take over such massive swathes of territory by a ideologically fringe rebellion, what is their capability, relentless calculus, moral strategy (eg how far will they go to avert another world war? would they assisinate a they righlty should physical threats?) to prevent, at worst nuclear war or at the very least yet another utter catastraphic homocide of 50 million? Nothing but pats on the backs for victory on the backs of homocide.

The very fact that the same governments exist in continuity despite their catastrophic failure to prevent the homocide of 50 million one way or another, into the 21st century is an embarrassment to the human condition and introspection of the nature of government. Where is the "What went so wrong that WW2 happened" amendment to the constitution? Where is the introspection about such a catastrophe that should be permanently ingrained in world culture?

I don't know who is truly responsible for the relatively peaceful breakup of the Soviet Union and what I would imagine could have been a catastrophe of territorial proportions, but whoever it is they deserve the noble peace prize for atleast however long uranium takes to be inactive.

Anyway, I just don't understand how everything is so fucked. Do the people in charge not have any interest to correctly manipulate physical reality instead of dancing to a particular tune and patting themselves on the back? I mean, of what use was the rule if the road you followed brought you here?

That's not to say it's not really nice having the USG and obviously it's continuity is necessary, but one would expect them to be closer to perfection in effectiveness than this.

Stop posting drunk.

Journalist got beheaded today:

LiveLeak.com - ISIS beheading American James Wright Foley

Not as bad as those old school iraq beheading videos where you had to watch the guy hack through for like 2 minutes...Those were brutal.

Looks like they also have another US prisoner lined up.

Executor has a British accent.

Cutting off the heads of journos is about as low as it gets.

Well that didn't take long, they already figured out the guy that beheaded him

LiveLeak.com - British rapper identified as ISIL militant who beheaded James Foley

Looks like he is some shitty rapper

There is also some speculation that much of ISIS is comprised of troops we trained in Jordan to combat Syria and Assad, using primarily anti-tank weaponry.

tank bang anti-tank attack HQ - YouTube

It's the greatest business model of all time. We get to manufacture the weapons, give them to our soon to be enemies, then blow them up. All on tax-payer dime. Woot.

If it wasn't for that taxpayer dime being spent on destabilizing these countries, the price of conflict minerals would be way, way fucking higher, and the computers we are using to discuss all of it with each other right now would probably cost over twice as much money (2x conservatively, could easily be 4-6x).

Oil is just a red herring, you cant pay some poor black orphan kid in the Congo to scrape oil out of the mud with a stick for a cup of rice a day. If you like paying $400 for a new smartphone instead of $1000-$1500, you like bombing brown people. :small-smiley-026:

Ok, you can call me a paranoid nut for this one, but take a look at this video on CNN:

Former CIA Chief: ISIS will try to attack West - CNN.com

Start at 1:10. He says, "if it's not on Tuesday it will be at a time and place of their choosing". What's with the specific Tuesday reference? Is that a saying in the US I'm unfamiliar with, or something?

Wild guess, but I'd say that it's to dehumanize ISIS and instill enough fear into the public to get them begging for more war/less freedom. Just a hunch from past situations.

I'm not saying ISIS isn't doing horrible shit. And I wouldn't be surprised if they have handlers closer to home than most American's would believe, but that's just speculation based on experience and incomplete information.

Let's hope he said "if it's not Tuesday" just on the basis of selling fear and another war. If shit goes down Tuesday, then they know more than they're leading people to believe. IF that's the case (and I hope it's not) I hope damage is minimal, and I hope people find that video and start asking questions.

I seriously doubt we'll see anything on Tuesday. But I fear we'll see one soon.

I hope I'm wrong.

My guess is that bad shit is on the horizon. They may need another Pearl Harbor to gain public support.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RC1Mepk_Sw"]General Wesley Clark: Wars Were Planned - Seven Countries In Five Years - YouTube[/ame]

"This is a memo that describes how we're going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran."
-General Wesley Clark

This isn't random. It's been in the works since before 9/11.

In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.

How long have we been targeting Syria and Iran? How did ISIS pop-up out of no-where, especially with our global "war on terror"?

Look at the MSM lineup lately...

"ISIS Attack A Matter Of Time".

"We MUST Invade Syria."

"Russia Invades Ukraine - Time For Intervention?"

"Chinese Jet Aggressively Targets U.S. Navel Plane."

Propaganda on that level takes months/years to prepare. And now it's hitting the tipping point, as I write this CNN's home page's headline is...

"EXPERT: ISIS Attack Only A Matter Of Time".

All signs point to bad shit. Not just overt war, but proxy and financial wars with Russia and China. It could be a bigger powder keg than anyone expects. If that happens things will get very bad very fast.

Luckily, America has militarized police in every corner of the country. If there's a disaster, they can swoop in and neutralize the public in no time.

You're not a paranoid nut. The world is ruled by truly evil bastards, and no matter what happens, whether on Tuesday or in 10-years, you can bet your life it wasn't an accident. Just asking "who benefits?" can tell you a lot.

Here we go...

Let's check this thread Tuesday and see where the world's at. I think it'll be fine then. 10 years down the road (or one), not so sure.

Scott you're scaring me, man.

Yeah, went out and saw a good friend of mines band last night. Hadn't seen him in about a year. I haven't drank copious amounts of Jager in several years - now I remember why.

Anyway, that's the type of shit that goes through my brain after god knows how many Jager shots. Luckily that's the only regrettable thing I wrote. No drunk texts or FB posts. I'll take that as a win, although I do wish WF had an edit/delete button.

If I'm posting on Wickedfire after 2am there's a pretty good chance I'm wasted and will say stupid things. Didn't mean to scare ya.

Just another country gets destroyed to bits again.

I wonder how America doesnt even respond to thousands being killed in Palestine
