I think the most vivid point of this post is how fucked up Google's price-discounting (err gauging) mechanism is. The OP would not get any impressions had he not bid $1.85 in the beginning. So basically, to even get into the game, Google gives you a nice initial rapeage. Otherwise it just won't ever give you any impressions. No wonder I wasnt able to get impressions bidding reasonably on content network heh........
?sites that were sending traffic to my advertiser
Great post thanks
On question though, does the quality score that G use on the AdWords search also apply for the site placements?
Great post!
But, where does Quantcast show sites that were sending traffic to my advertiser?
no QS, just CTR
It looks to me that QS is also applied to Site Placement ads?For calculating a keyword-targeted ad's eligibility to appear on a particular content site, as well as the ad's position on that site:For determining if a placement-targeted ad will appear on a particular site:
- The ad's past performance on this and similar sites
- The relevance of the ads and keywords in the ad group to the site
- The quality of your landing page
- Other relevance factors
- The quality of your landing page
Are you sure?
