Wow. Joozed gave me a review and I'm pretty happy with this. I've never done a software submit, but have seen these kinds of backlinks when analyzing some front page rankings. Eli wrote about this ages ago and it's always been a backburner project for me to get this done.
Here's what you get:
- 80 sumbits, of which 47 have already approved the software so far.
- The actual .exe file
- A pad file to sumbit yourself later to more sites (I'm not finding any other vendors offering this part)
- A really really REALLY nice report of the deep urls of your submission and the sites submitted to
Link status:
Right now 47 of the links, 46 of them are linking back to my site and 42 of them are straight up dofollow links. The other ones are condom links, and more than half of all 47 have my desired anchor text.
Only some are indexed right now so I'm off to ping them, wait, and then blast if needed.
If you are trying for link diversity, this is good too: I'm showing 41 unique IPs across multiple platforms from 8 different geographic hosted regions (us, uk, thailand, ukraine, india, canada, germany, romania). I imagine the remaining submissions will fit this ratio.
There are very few to 0 OBL on the pages as well. I do not expect the deep pages to have any PR (PR is listed in the report for the main root url).
Communication:
Joozed is also good to work with - I tried to host the .exe on my site and somehow messed that up, so he had to re-run the submitter using his hosted .exe which worked. He answered all my emails within a day.
I think it's really cool to get the pad/exe file out of this, and these are links your compeitor is NOT getting.
