★★ Need Reputable CPA Networks Fast ★★

You must be a really tight team over there. Congratulations on building such a delightful environment, that is capable to bring the deep understanding of how the senior management is dealing with their partners, by your affiliate managers.

I was welcomed with the exact same wonderful attitude by your team when applied not so long ago.

In defense of networks, affiliates do not realize how much fraud is going on in this industry. I would say the average network gets 1 legit affiliate to sign up for every 100 fraudster applications they get.

It's a bitch sorting through it and when the the fraudsters do get through they reek havoc, not only on the network but also on the industry as a whole. Do you realize how much money legit affiliates are losing because of fraud? Payouts are lower, advertisers scrub more, kick ass campaigns are lost, etc. etc. etc.

Any network that puts effort forth in fighting this gets brownie points in my opinion... there are so many that turn a blind eye to it or intentionally let fraud traffic through just so they can try and earn their margin on it and that's worse than the assholes sending fraud. It also costs networks a LOT of time and money trying to prevent fraudsters from getting in to the network, monitoring for fraud on a daily basis and cleaning up the messes the fraudsters leave behind. It's beyond frustrating at points. We have a guy that we caught last month after complaints w/ evidence from several advertisers that had the balls to call me asking where his payment was. Fuck you, that money is staying with the advertiser so they don't take a loss and end up having to lower payouts and screw our good affiliates.

We have a solid system that requires an interview process with references that we verify or a referral from an active & trusted publisher. The fraudsters go as far as calling & aiming my AMs pretending to be the references, submitting several applications in different names creating more work, threatening them, bribing them, etc. We even have No Fraud Tolerance Policy all over our site too.

The worst part is that this is another way that legit publishers suffer because of fraud... they have to go through this BS to get into the network when most networks assume that every app is fraud. Some of the bigger and longer established networks get 100s of apps every day, which I am sure MaxBounty falls in to that category. That is a LOT of bullshit to wade through.

This industry is way too Us versus Them when it comes to affiliates and networks. If you are a solid affiliate that is driving quality traffic you really need to find a couple networks that want to be your partner and not just broker you offers. Build solid relationships with them and they will become so much more than just a place to get offers & weekly payouts from.

So, basically you are advocating guilty until proven otherwise?

Sorry, but that's just not what I'm looking for. MB lost me right there when their AM told me he can't call me for a phone interview. I gave him my work number(which have been called by at least 5 networks), gave him my personal cell AND my home number. And there were problemes with all of them. Offered to call HIM and he said "ok, let me think when I can find a spot in my schedule", still waiting. On top of that, his attitude was "dude... i've got so many affiliates, I really don't care if you sign up".

well... kthxbye!

There are a few networks that are the toppest of all. And if MB gives me that crap, I will just stick with c2m and w4.

That guy comes and says his account was closed without any explanation whatsoever and a person from senior management comes in and bashes his head. WTF? Mistakes happen and he could be right and you wrong, and by doing that you might miss errors in your processes as a company. But that seems like another level of thinking that mr. Steve seems not to cherish. Well... I hope you have one helluva internal team, because you're going to sink big time, if you continue to treat your (potential) partners that way.

I'm not sure how long you've been in affiliate marketing, but neither MaxBounty nor I have the reputation of being ignorant with our partners now or at any time in our 8+ year history. We've survived a ton of upheaval in this industry over the years, and we've been consistently ranked amongst the top networks, buy our partners.

In any case, the guy in question didn't come in here and ask for the status of his account. He didn't PM me for an explanation, nor did he follow the appeal process that we clearly lay out on our FAQ page. He came here simply to flame MaxBounty. So I flamed back. If there's anyone that doesn't understand that's how things work here, I'm not sure they are familiar with the tone or history of WickedFire.

Regarding you application with us, while your tone suggests you are no longer interested, I'd be more than interested in showing you how we truly operate. Feel free to PM me to discuss the app, this thread, or anything else in general. You can find out for yourself that I am a very reasonable person.

First of all, I wasn't getting into any specifics with MaxBounty as I was not part of that situation and I only know them by their reputation. I have been in the industry longer than they have been around and I haven't ever heard anything terrible about them and at the same time have always heard they are a solid network. Maintaining a network as long as they have speaks for itself.

I was trying to educate you and other affiliates on the state of the industry because I do not believe that affiliates really understand how bad fraud is and how much it hurts them even though they are not directly involved in it. I run a network and have been running CPA campaigns as a publisher and with publishers since back before it was common place to have a tracking platform and we sent stats back and forth daily on Excel sheets, so I am qualified to speak on this subject.

This guy should have reached out to Steve personally, as everyone knows he is readily accessible through here, FB and other places, before posting something like this and risking their reputation. I don't believe that Steve would have responded that way if he didn't have evidence of fraud, though I do not know him personally and this assumption could definitely be wrong.

And to touch on your guilty until proven innocent comment. With my network all pub apps that are *NOT* coming from a referral are treated like that because they have to be. Once affiliates are approved this changes and progresses to the complete opposite as the publishers prove themselves, though we do monitor everything closely. If we have a suspect publisher, we are immediately investigating it with our advertisers and collecting proof of the fraud. Any network that treats all publishers as innocent until proven guilty is run by complete idiots or scammers and won't be in business long. They are also the networks contributing to demise of this industry which provides us all with our livelihoods.

Last, if this guy had any ground to stand on he would have responded again. He hasn't. If you had issues with the way someone on Steve's team treated you, you also should have reached out to him before posting here. I am sure he would want to know there are issues, ensure they are handled and assign you to someone else. Running a network requires you to keep up with so many moving pieces that we have to put quite a bit of trust into our team to handle their day to day tasks up to a respectable standard. What one person does is not always a reflection of the company as a whole. Now had you reached out to Steve and had a similar experience that would be a different story, but I doubt that would have been the case.

Rick sykpe me smaxoro on skype.

Will check PM's as well.

We were super short staffed for a bit and just hired 4 new AM's to help service people better. Also working on hiring another 4-6 more right away if anyone is looking, San Diego :D

I also recommend Maxbounty.com, I've been an affiliate of theirs for over 4 years and have always been paid on time and never run into any problems. The owners of the company are also pretty easily available if anything ever comes up.
