New Facebook $$$ Methods - Page 2 - Black Hat Forum Black Hat SEO

FYI It is long FUCK CLIFF NOTES READ IT

Ok i'll be making a few posts in this thread to cover the huge changes that are the FB open graph, I will be including a working method that gets fanpage like viral growth with your own site, later.

For marketers the new FB "Open Graph Api" is the biggist opportunity I've seen in the last 10yrs, its such a big opportunity that its scary. How Big? FB will be bigger then google, let me explain..

FB wants to be the ONE login for the whole web, the one ring to rule all, a deal with the devil where you will be bribed with a tsusnami of traffic, easy traffic.

Anyone thinking that the FB move is not evil are lambs begin ready for slaughter… and any webmasters that extend its services are complicit with closing off the internet and shredding to bits any notions of users privacy or rights...but, FB is willing to trade huge amounts of traffic for your help in gain the one ring to rule all....

i'm posting this stuff here because i know BHW members will stress test this new open graph api until they have to make alot of changes for the better, because this easy traffic will stimulate your greed hormones when i show you the first method of many to come.

Open Graph api is essentially a Facebook Fan Page for any site on the web, but you don't need a fanpage..., and most importantly, its a "semantic" search engine of the future.

Facebook is sharing user data and who their friends are via api for you to keep, 24hr limit is gone, and yes you get the users email. Its a protocol that’s designed to aggregate all social activities from external sites back to Facebook , this makes Facebook a social public inbox/bookmarker/Dataminer, where the links to your site are at the center of every persons profile. FB trades traffic for a websites indentured servitude to FB via Open Graph Api.

The Like button dosn't require login and runs in an iframe, it connects the "liker" to the "social object" = website. Even if you’ve never visited a site before, you’ll get social context when you visit the site. Now, when users show up to sites that uses it, you can see which of your friends like the site, or have engaged with it recently, without the site knowing anything about you. And when users like anything, it automatically gets added to the list of things they like on their profile.

The like button is the new Pagerank, the new backlink, its a "friendranking" system that hooks into the new FB search been rolled out. In essence, the biggest shift from this is that many people who do not participate very much on the social web outside of Facebook will now. Imagine a year from now how much participation will be going on when you see a “Like” button on every web page? People who have never bookmarked a website through Digg, Delicious or Stumble Upon will using the like button because they will be seeing "likes" on friends profiles daily.

I predict that "like" button traffic from the new FB api search & profile reffers will surpass the traffic a google #1 spot in SERPS sends in quite a few niches. And the like button can be "clicked" without the user knowing, if they are logged in... if you know where to look i'm sure you will find the script here at BHW

So what if Larry and Sergey wanted to recreate Google today?
You know what I bet they wish they could have done? Forced anyone who wanted to add a page to the web to authenticate with them first, just like you have to register your website with FB. It sure would have kept out all those spammers Oh, and anyone that wanted to be part of the Google index, well they’d have to add additional metadata to their pages so that the content graph would be spic and span. Then add in the “like” button to track user engagement and then use that data to determine which pages and content to recommend to people based on their social connections (also stored on their server) and you’ve got a pretty compelling, centralized service. All those other pages from the long tail? Well, they’re just not that interesting anyway, right?

This new "Open Graph Api" is like a “Authenticated PageRank” or "Friendrank" — where everyone that wants to be listed in the index would have to get a Google account first. Are you starting to reliase how big this is...FB has 400million user and FB is intoducing a new type of search engine & recommendation system using FB user "like" data.

It all starts when you leave the facebook website. I usually don’t log out, my friends don’t log out, and in fact most people don’t log out. We all know this is too much of a hassle. Now, if I visit a website which has integrated the “like” iframe, facebook might just know that I am there. Because I didn’t log out before. And why shouldn’t facebook track the referrer combined with the user id of every requested iframe? But the system can be gamed via social engineering or code. In my next post i'm going to show you how by collecting a huge double optin email list virally.

Now the other major system in the open graph api for exploiting is FB connect, using the FB api you can control authorisations & user permission if the user login to your site with their facebook login. Once they login, you get there user data to keep, email, name, etc. This is opens up alot of methods for social engineering, and is the courner stone of the method i'll post next.

What is possible when you control access to content & downloads via FB connect is that once they login in you can "sell" them on the next action you want them to take by using social proof thats supplied via the API. Beside optin forms, downloads, etc you can show open graph "recommendations" & "facepiles", which are just a bunch of profile pics that help create a sense of "trust". If the perception is that all these people "like" it, you can get amazing optin/conversion percentages AND viral traffic growth.

The FB Recommendations plugin provides suggestions for things your users might like, on your site. The algorithm is based on both the collective mutual interests of all your site’s users, as well as the user’s personal friends. This is a new ranking traffic system that also can be gamed, & should have shit hot conversions because of the social proof factor. If your friends like it, it must be good?!?

If you "Like" so far, slap that button

Ok, this "Open Graph Api" money making method is a proven system that turns a website into fanpage with all the crazy viral growth you see with a fanpage, but this system is actually heaps more powerful because you get a double optin email list to keep.

Now, you can lock down your sites content with authentication permissions that requires FB users to use FB connect & then that sends their FB user data to your sites database for you to keep, and then they have to "like" the site before the content is revealed to them. This forces a huge viral feed back loop.

I'm delivering the authentication required content after they submit their emails into a double optin system before they are emailed the download link via auto responder, the idea is to legally harvest FB user data [emails] into a double optin email list i can legally exploit in Interspire Email Marketer until people opted out.

Here's one example of a legal way to build a huge email list of poker player you can send poker bonus offers & who will actually virally promote your list building. You really have to give people a good reason to login, click the "like" & submit the email, that will kick in the viral growth & free software that has a easy to sell benifits will get people to take action.

The bait is a zynga poker bot [users on facebook, myspace, twitter, bebo, etc] this is 100% FREE & Open Source software, so its totally ok for us to distribute this for free, in exchnage for peoples email via a double optin in to our list. Ok the next step is to turn a ordinary wordpress blog into a Open graph api enabled website & at the same time you will experience how this facebook connect & "like" to download works. I'll show you how its done next. Go here to this spanish website to get the plugin that intergrates open graph api into wordpress. Installation instructions are in the plugin folder.

I would suggest you be carefull with your "privacy" when login in to download that plugin & see how this all works, i'm sure FB spam team will discover this post & will check to see who login via API on that site

Code:
Code:
http://www.sociable.es/facebook-wordpress-plugin-3-0/
As you can see that site forces you to login via facebook & "like" the site before you can get the content. As you get more likes & more friends showing in your side collums the higher your optin rates will increase.

Personally, i've mostly been using my own modification of joomla with open graph, but this is pretty good. I think you need to get the signals of "trust" like the facepiles, etc up the top & left.

How that page is done is listed below, right click the "locked" icon on sociable.es and upload it too your site

Pile Face, activity stream & recommendation widgets in the left hand column beside the optin form will increase convesions. Eyes track from left to right, so all those friends create trust & then they see your offer.

This is the code at the top of the page where people go to download the free software

{include a spiel here to get people to take action]

Get your free Zynga poker bot or mafia wars bot here by following these instructions...

interspire autoresponder can be setup to respond with the download link.

Now you can sit back as your list builds itself & bang out a few poker bonus offers per week, whilst sucking beers on your yachet in the Caribbean.

please note: i'm assuming you are compentent in setting up your own wordpress blog, i'm not going to spoon feed anyone in how to use wordpress. This is an open graph api thread.

And please, no PM's for help. Sorry, i'm busy with my own stuff & i could have easily sold this method as a ebook on WF &/or on clickbank for $xx,xxx plus

Also please note: I give no warranties in regards to FB TOS or general lawfulness. Do your own due diligence. Just saying

That is it in the best possible nut shell.

this seems very unlikly to be within fb tos. will be a lot of hard work spent forsomething they are going to change if it by any chance isnt already against the tos.

To summarize this is basically creating an incentive like a 'free report' for the user clicking 'like' and then going on on the next window on facebook that pops up to click 'share my personal information with the page'. Hopefully, this will then create viral traffic and also give you the users contact info (although it's against facebook's TOS to use this for advertising purposes). There's definitely potential there but it's not truly earth shattering - seems to me it's basically the same as an incentivized via freebie email list opt in only the hope is that it will also give you viral traffic and create a feedback loop of friend's of theirs on facebook seeing they 'liked' something and also going to it and then picking up steam and building up.

At least that was my take on it. Pretty needlessly verbose IMO, hard to make sense of.

i didnt read all that shit but the open graph is game changing.

also offer wall with like buttons might work, instead of offers.

Cliffs:

Facebook's new API sends out all your profile info (friends and email included) whenever you connect to external sites.

They now also have a "like" button for the entire web.

Marketers could setup an "incentive" site that requires visitors to connect and "like" their site before they are able to access premium content.

Doing so would give you the person's email which you could then spam to death and it will give you viral traffic because their friends will see a link that says "John likes Gay Webmaster Forum"

If you want to see it in action and download a plugin that does such things then click here:

No lie, I have a close friend that made $200k within 2 months utilizing the "content shown after 'Liking' ". Not going to go into it, don't want to fuck it up for the ones killing it. But it's definitely effective.

Definitely a very nice angle to play with Facebook, but, since you posted it here you can now guarantee facebook will clamp down on it.

the difference is people are giving you their email and confirming your list without typing in their email.

If you dont see how much that will change everything you are retarded.

2010 Is going to be a year for mass emailing spamming thanks to facebook. Is this what I'm hearing?

And if they don't even have to type name, email, etc... God damn... lol

You guys are missing something. I big dialog box pops up infront of the user asking if they want to share that information with your site and they must confirm.

But seriously, fuck the emails. There are 1000's different ways you can monetize with the Open Graph API.

this is the first BHW post that actually provides any value... good stuff.

better get going while the going is good :)

Surely facebook doesn't give away email info if you've enabled all the proper privacy settings.

But yeah, besides the extremely paranoid 1% of us, who does that?

My understanding is while you collect the emails through Connect, you still need to opt these users into your own list. Sending them offers without doing so is not CAN-SPAM compliant and will land you in the clink if you pull this shit.

It's still a brilliant opportunity, and endless possibilities to monetize :) +rep to AEJ for this.
