Hi,

Wow! What a forum!

I've been lurking around. There are a lot of great threads here. I see this forum as much better than others I have been on that are part of a paid membership.

I like the no BS attitude.

Okay - it's my first post here so I had to blow some sunshine.

I've done pretty well with adsense but I'm working hard now to develop some cash with affiliate programs. Most of my experience has been with Clickbank in the past, but I'm attracted to the idea of the CPA offers, although I can see it certainly takes some work.

One thing that attracts me is the offers you see in networks like Azoogle and Clickbooth that only require a zip code or email submission from a user to generate a small commision of a dollar and change. I've tried one of these and generated a small profit. Most of these offers seem to be in very competitive areas, though, so the going seems tough despite a conversion rate that can get into the 20-30% range.

Has anyone else had success with these offers - using Adwords/PPC in particular.

I was running an e-mail submit that was earning me like 50% return, but it was hard to find cheap enough keywords. The benefit to zip and e-mail submits is that the conversion rates rock. I think I was converting like 30%. Then it went downhill and traffic prices went up, so I stopped it.

Forgot to add- this was with adcenter.

Email offers are the best-the conversion rate drops like a rock one the ol' creditcard gets involved.

I personally would shy away from email/zip submits in the major engines. The cost is usually very high and the conversions aren't that good (from my experience) You could however buy cheap news related terms and put a monkey page up that drives them to the offer.

For example, when the London bombing happened i bought the term London bombing and several others that were related (traffic surged in Google for these terms once it happened), since it was a new term no one was bidding on it, i threw a monkey page together that said something like, do you think the London bombings were a terrorist attack? Vote now and enter to win a free plasma TV, i then sent them from my monkey page to the plasma TV offer. This worked for a day then everyone else jumped on it and raised the CPC so i backed off it.

Now how about some rep points for the help? I need to improve my negative rep

That was basically what I did. I jumped on the elmo keywords and sent them to the free elmo, the keywords actually stayed pretty cheap for longer than I expected.

What is a monkey page? I am new to this lingo.

Hmm..thats interesting news based CPA. It is time to look beyond the usual keywords (ipod, xbox, laptop, etc) offers.

great idea

Yes email and zip submits are getting me very rich very quickly, you just need to know how to promote them.

Don't mean to go off topic here.. but do you know of ANY other CEO for a major ad network that comes here or to any forum and gives advice to affiliates? No! Only Mike -- Owner of Copeac. Kudos to you man, we really appreciate it.

PS - I'm still going to beat your ass in poker, and you will lose our bet and have to wear that Depends diaper. Go practice.
