Affiliate Marketing- Supplemental or Full Time?

I'm full time and have never had a full time 9-5 for more then a summer in high school either and part time work in college and even then I was self employed. I can't really work for someone else without thinking, "How much is this fucker making off my labor? How can I get them out of the deal and make more?". It's just how I am.

But there is NOTHING wrong with people that rather work a full time job - contrary to popular belief they aren't all settling because they couldn't cut it by themselves(although some are sure). That's like saying your settling because you didn't marry a model/movie star, everyone might want it a little but that has no barring on how much they love there wife and how happy they can be.

And what also might be a big surprise to people running the most deceptive re bills they can find to make as much money as possible is many people care much more about how they effect the world then how much money they make. I've had the pleasure of meeting a number of people with service jobs that love what they do and wanted to do it since they were little - they have a satisfactions in life I WISH I could achieve.

Some of you guys must have had awful 9-5's.

I had my share of awful 9-5's and I can say that working for myself 100% for almost 2 years now is a great feeling. However, I can say that I also had really great 9-5's also and would not mind if I had to give this up and go back to them.

I think it depends on what you put yourself into. When I just needed money back in the old days.. I took any job I could get and those ended up being the horrible 9-5's. Then I got more serious about my career and goals and aligned my "jobs" to those goals and thats when the great 9-5's came rolling in, jobs that put me into executive level positions.

Now that I done affiliate marketing and been my boss, I no longer worry about money or financials and I could def. see myself taking on another executive level career again that would be worthwhile if the right thing came along.. something like heading up another company or partner in a firm. Just depends on how you align yourself I think.. a lot of people just wanna not have a boss, I just wanna do what I wanna do.

there are plenty of people here who have dropped out of high school and I would consider some of the smartest people I know.. high school isn't for everyone. age doesn't mean shit when it comes to this industry. a lot of the biggest ballers in this industry are under age 25, and 17 isn't too far from there.. grow up dude, it's his decision and he will learn a lot from the experience

Guaranteed salary + benefits = slavery to someone else. It's a legal pyramid scheme where you don't control your own destiny.

When you work for someone else its kinda like indentured slavery since you have a boss commanding you to work for money. What is the difference between the financial gain goal of a fireman or a pornstar?

SEO full time for client sites since last 2 years. I did a bit of AM with the promo for wordpress review plugins and trust me that was easy money.

Primarily I own an online store selling jewellery. I'm expanding this business offline, currently have my products stocked by 2 retail stores on consignment, aiming for 10 in the near future. This income is about as passive as it gets.

On top of that I do AM on and off.

On top of that I work as a casual IT contractor for a friend's dad's company.

I also usually have various other money making scheme projects going on, currently I'm building an ID scanner and writing the software in Java for it, hoping to sell\rent it out to a certain niche market.

Considering all the above, I'm nowhere near being a baller.

What is the point in going full-time if you’re simply going to wake up at 11am and watch your stats all day? You should have just stayed in the day job and enjoyed your temporary riches with the security of a guaranteed pay cheque to underline it. Hell, if you’re doing that, you CAN afford to splash out on the luxuries in life.
