To be honest, I would. His past has nothing to do with what he's done or accomplished. I'm sure you pissed and shit your pants as a kid, does that make you unfit for the public?
No tattoos haha, but obviously my life is a little different from what it was 8 years ago.
I'm always extremely honest about that part of my past when anyone asks, because I know there are a lot of others who are in similar situations currently who could use advice about how to get help if they need it. I will never be ashamed of my past as without it, I would never be where I am today, and I think that's something I'm allowed to be proud of.
