Furniture Niche Sites

I have seen plenty of niche furniture sites, some with only 6 pages and two backlinks but do they work. Is it possible to make $200 a month from a small niche furniture site?

You are a fucking retard for even asking this question, that's why you are getting answers from people that are just straight up want to fuck with you.

To answer your dumb question - Yes

Well I asked on another forum and the general response was no they dont work.

Which suprised me, thats my I pushed this point - to get a solid answer.

Maybe your the 'retard' for giving me a solid answer.

Why would some people say they dont work and others say they do?

was that other forum Warrior Forum or DP?

Either way, please proceed to eat shit and die now.

Fuck selling furniture, set up a shitload of smaller sites targeting local keywords like "chicago furniture rental" or "trade show furniture new york" and resell the leads to local companies. They buy them.

Interesting idea. Im from the UK. Do you think it could work universally?

In the UK we have large national chains as opposed to state wide store chains that you may have in the States.

Sounds a bit unusual though. If I was looking for furniture I wouldn't give over my details in this way.

Has anyone tried this?

I'm not talking about retail furniture, I'm talking about marketing to companies or individuals who rent furniture for one reason or another, and there are a LOT of reasons. Best of all, it's an industry bound by logistics (the shit's gotta ship) so local seo is gold.

I think you need to embrace social media in a unique way to stand out from the crowd in the furniture arena...

For instance you could set up a twitter account and pretend to be a chair... maybe a chair in a large airport and you could tweet about all the customers that sit on you (celebrities?). ie. some guy created a twitter account that tweets (toots?) every time someone farts on a chair. Really!

You could also create a Facebook group all about furniture. They don't allow fake user accounts (so you couldn't create a facebook profile pretending to be a talking chair), but you could create such a page on Myspace.

Oh, and maybe you could animate a chair or a table (ie using CrazyTalk software that can make still photos look like they're talking) to create a character that answers questions about furniture, or talks about furniture, and upload the video to Youtube. ie. you use your voice to talk, enter that mp3 or wav file into CrazyTalk to animate a still photo of a chair to make it look like it's saying the words. Generate video file & upload to Youtube.

OH - and get some inbound links thru article marketing or linkbait articles on your own site. ie. "7 most famous chairs in TV history" (talking chair on Pee Wee's Playhouse, Archie Bunker's chair from "All in the Family" which is currently house at the Smithsonian Institute, etc). or "Most famous sex on table-top scenes in Hollywood" or "Top 5 most dangerous chairs in history" (1st electric chair, the chair thrown at Geraldo Rivera by the White Supremist that broke his nose, that chair a guy attached balloons to so he could fly (see: Darwin Awards), etc.

I have more great ideas, but the acid is wearing off so... yeah.

How can someone tell you if it works if he hasn't done it himself. If it does and it's making money do you think he wants more competition? If he didn't how the fuck can he say yes.
You have to test it yourself and then maybe ask a specific question why you don't convert or don't get enough traffic. You can sit and read. Or you can sit and do.
And I genuinely wish you $$

Thanks mate, I do have other sites but I am looking to do a bit of research into this area.

The only way you are going to find out the answer to that is to build a site yourself and try it out. Anybody making bank on this isn't going to tell you that on a forum.

If you can't be arsed building one yourself just follow the thread on A4u since people will be posting their earnings as part of the competition. But if they start posting decent numbers expect the niche to get saturated pretty quickly since it will be public knowledge

You are talking about $200 dollars for crist sake. If you can't make $200 dollars a month in ANY niche, you might as well fucking quit.

People make thousands with a ONE page landing page, just FYI.

The question is retarded because it is not about how much you can make off the site, it is HOW you can make money off those sites, plus like others have said. Anyone with any success will not tell you on a public forum on how they do it. You are better off testing it yourself. That's what makes this question so retarded. You might as well ask them for traffic source, converting merchant and converting keywords if this is how you are going to find out.

Testing > asking dumb questions.

I am being realistic and I am not the one with the intention of trying to fuck you over with jack ass answers.

100% Impossible!

FYI , the internet may be a big place, but for anyone that has a furniture site, you're our competitor, and taking money from our pockets if we help you.

My network of 200 furniture sites making me $40k/month better not suffer or its all your asses!!
