All this over a 30$ Job and I don't even know who wants to sue me.

I didn't mean to bust people's balls (aside from Karl's) but what he did was wrong, regardless of legalities or caselaw.

Nope, I do not think so. Code is a very special beast.

But aside from that, in business, legal is all that matters. Anyone and their brother will fuck you over for a $ more in profits.

T'is ok, you've busted my balls since the day I joined the site, and before you even knew what I did, and bust it every chance you get :P The loudest voices appear to be those who've always busted my balls, or are my direct competition oddly enough. :D

Wrong

I liked you until you advocated the teasing of middle school aged kids.

Yea you seemed a bit unbalanced in the 'stop calling me a homo' thread.... especially when all I said was it boiled down more to parenting than anything to help someone cope. I think you even threatened some pretty brutal physical damage to myself and many others in the thread.

Meth is a helluva drug.

You only charged $30 and then complain about the compensation being so little that you basically have no choice to sell it. Bullshit. Who quoted it? You did. Who accepted the job for so little? You did.

Quit fucking whining and raise your rates to a level that you can afford diapers, so that don't have to sell code that isn't rightfully yours. Whether you have a contract or not, a client would reasonably expect to own what they are paying you for. Ultimately, they are your client and you should be serving their interests in order to foster a continued business relationship. Being a successful service provider isn't only about you making a profit, it's also about believing in your client's success and contributing to that goal. Pulling stupid stunts like reselling their code or even something similar in concept (and making lame threads like this one) is counter-productive to that agenda.

Some of you really need to re-evaluate your business ethics.
