Before you watch G.I. Joe you should know...

I guess its another one of those action movies that you need to numb your brain a lil to enjoy.

I usually bring a couple beers as an insurance policy.

The trick is to get the the ones that look like energy drinks.

Now, now WickedFire you're not going to go and see this for the oscar performance now are you?

Why the fuck they sell beer in the theaters? They don't do it in TN and I'm glad because every 5 minutes someone would be getting up to piss during the film. Not to mention the ones who drink a lot of beer and start acting like they are a character in the movie.

yeah, but their "acting" would probably be more entertaining than the performances in G.I. Joe.

Although I do give the movie props for using the line "knowing is half the battle" in a serious scene.

or you could make one of these [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWo5-zZf77A]YouTube - Conceal A Can Rollup Beer Sleeve[/ame]

If you manage to sneak in a couple beers and don't pay much attention to the plot you might find it entertaining. Good action scenes at least.

I've lived in Lee's Summit, MO, several places in Michigan, areas of (ft.bragg, Raleigh, etc) North Carolina, and so forth and never ran into a theatre that allowed Alcohol.

Now X-rated theatre... thats a diff story.

I'm pretty sure at least half of the theaters in Springfield have beer. In fact, the Campbell 16 even has boxed wine.

Granted, I don't drink so I don't go around looking to see if every theater has booze... but I know the ones in Springfield and Kansas City serve it. And I know they sell it in Colorado Springs, Seattle, Portland, San Fransisco... only because I clearly remember my friends getting wasted during movies at all of these places.

Movie Tavern is walking distance to my house. Beer, wine and full service hard alcohol bar served at your seat FTFW!
