My Dispute With Hydra Network - Resolved

+1
The damage has been done. I'm surprised to see how fast WF members change their mind. Its sad.

I just feel bad for all the assholes that all of a sudden give you guys credit. You weren't transparent before and you deserve to be piled on.

I look at a number of networks (just to name a few, copeac, advaliant, motive, A4d , C2M) and honestly I'm not going to just roll over like some of these jokers. You made you bed in this and you have to deal with it. I think every person who just passes this off is wrong outright in the situation (considering every one of them was condeming you).

Whether what I say reaches anyones ears is irrelevent to me, but WF has had standards and still does. We are use to networks that will spill the bean full out for us. Just because you guys have had a change of heart (no less because your reputation is now fucked) doesn't mean I'm going to roll over.

You had your chance now get fucked.

Well we have always been transparent with the affiliates we work with... just not with an anonymous forum. And if you love transparency so so much, why is it an anonymous forum?

In my opinion it's all too easy to rant and rave when hiding behind the cloak of anonymity. If you hadn't noticed i have identified myself. How about you?

But whatever. You are entitled to your opinion.

But you don't have to take my word for it. We're going to work hard to prove to you that we will continue to be a great place that helps affiliates grow and make a whole lot of money.

And if you have ideas of things you would like to see that would make us better at doing it, please do share.

This would probably be the BEST IDEA
And This, The second best

Why not some transparency as to why everyone is quitting? Obviously, no one wants to air their dirty laundry. But your dropping employees by the minute... on seemingly very bad terms.

Oh ya and you left a thread on paying an affiliate unanswered (at least intelligently answered) for 2 months.

Seems like shit hit the fan... and I wouldn't touch your company with a 10-foot poll right now.

I'm in the Hydra network for a couple of years now, and one of the "assholes" that gave him credit. I feel it's one of the better networks because of the variety of offers, and I have never had a problem getting paid. They really did give out the best looking hats at ad Tech (somebody mentioned this earlier).

Mason answered that the Hyra cone of silence policy has changed, and I think they should be given the opportunity to repair their reputation. My only beef with them is feeling like a number there and not having an affiliates manager. I wouldn't run much traffic through them for this reason.

Ok. So guys: It's not easy to admit you're wrong/messed up. Hydra has. I'm not suggesting we all start slobbering all over them or anything, but perhaps by acting a bit less dickish we can encourage networks to be more transparent in the future?

Just sayin. Questions are valid and all, but perhaps a few less adjectives ;)

Enough hating on Hydra. Get over it. If you don't want to run their offers, DON'T. Good grief.

Mason leaves a reasonably good impression on me for clarifying the situation. Fair play for setting it straight.

What I didn't appreciate was my "verification phone call" from Hydra a month or so ago. I had some chick who quite obviously didn't want to be on the phone speaking to me. She disappeared mid-call to have a conversation with somebody else, was pretty damn rude, and said she'd get back to me within 24 hours. Never did.

I guess I got rejected by them. But with the attitude of the woman I spoke to, I can't say I care.

Same exact thing happened here. I was told I would be contacted in 24 hours and never was again. Oh well, I just took the traffic to a competitor. You would think these networks would WANT our business, it appears as if Hydra is actually discouraging us indirectly.
