fuck you, chrislingle! jackass

Thanks for the negaive rep. Wow that hurts.

Seriously guys what is there to learn - search on 7 search and you will find tons of arbitrage examples. Try them out if they work cool if not move on. But do not give site details or niche details to a competitor. That is stupid no matter how much you "learn"

My first day on arbi, allow the noob to report here:

Niche: laptop related

Keywords: 600+ keywords

PPC Search Engine: 7search

Bid: From $0.01 to $0.06 ( jon said shouldn't exceed over $0.06)

Results: 10 hours, 0 click :1zhelp:

What did I do wrong!?

You layout is probably bad and your ads are prob not target to the niche you are advertising

Dan, do you really think I was trying to take there niche details? hell why? do you think there is something new under the sun in arbitrage? shit, your atitude is why people ask all the dumb questions. they get confused, what other business in the world works this way, no examples and nobody to teach, i don't know all about this but I get the general idea of what is going on!

yep, his layout was bad, he wanted laptops and was getting lcd's with bad paying ads. but there were other problems that, did not show as well!

i would have posted the url - but did not want to put it out there. But that layout is weak. Every time i see that layout it screams irrelevant.

and the pics and ads were not doing anything for the site.

Guys these people on 7 search come from scraper sites in Google Serps and off of other "partner" site they are looking for information that is relevant to what they are searching for.

Think about what you are doing.

Thanks for all the advices.

A quick update from me,

Run 3 more pages on 7search, and increased my max bid. Earned $4 by spending $1. Ok, not a bad start. Will put up 10 more pages tonight.

WOW. I JUST READ EVERY POST IN HERE! took me two days off and on, but i did it. so much useful information. I am working on building some sites this weekend. I will update this post with my progress.

Thanks again Chris and everyone else whos posted good info.

I have 4 pages up. About 250 keywords for 4 niches. Wouldn't you know it, I get my first hit off of the highly competitive term at .20 a hit. It did pay $3.00 on .40.

I still need to work on it though. I'm not converting my other stuff.

Thanks everyone! I just started getting a positive ROI yesterday, 1:3,5! (or is it 3,5:1 ?) Only my 3rd day actually! Arbitrage is alive! :tongue2:

EDIT: I shall add that I only have about 100 keywords in 7search. Adsense revenue = $0,85 and spent on 7search is $0,24.

green, about the llc questions.. check out www.thenevadacompany.com, they take care of pretty much everything for you, i went through them for my llc and everything was smooth.

awesome thread btw, finally took time to read through it all!

Lol I made my best adsense day ever today, (what I can remember)! So far $2,89! I already feel like a guru! Like other people say, dont have your 7search ads running at night, asian clicks sucks, nothing I have seen yet I think. BUT! Also the adwords advertisers turn of their ads those times! So what adsense ads you get with your ads running early morning and on night is:
1. Worse ads, ads targeting people in other countries.
2. Not as many ads, less ctr as visitors may not find an interesting ad.
3. Not as high paying ads.

This was very clear to me because today, with times from about 04.00 AM -09.00 AM I got some US traffic, like 7 clicks, with 0% ctr, that's like wtf because I had 50% ctr from 4 clicks yesterday! So I turned off my ads and turned them on later, like 12.00 AM or so. Now I have had 3 clicks from, don't really know but very few visitors, 4 I guess! (Having trouble with my 3rd party adsense logger, and urchin not reporting all 7search clicks either it seems, fraudulent traffic possibly)

Juicify, what country are you in and what time zone?

I'm in the UK so I need to know the time differences to work out what "night-time" I'm turning my ads off for :D

I'm in the UK so I need to know the time differences to work out what "night-time" I'm turning my ads off for :D

I'm in Sweden so I'm GMT+1, now at summer it's GMT+2. I guess you are normally at GMT+0 and now in summer GMT+1?

The US spans many timezones. From GMT-8 to GMT-4 or something like that in summer.

The best way I could do it is go up early in the morning and turn of the ads like 05.00, then it's like around 23.00 in the US.

I should then turn them on at 17.00 here. Then it's about 12.00 in the US.

And fuck AM and PM, I don't understand how you count that in the us. ^^, Well mostly I do, but there is something weird about 00.00 AM / PM and 12.00 AM/PM that is just not how it should be :S

OOOH Just see how stupid it is! http://www.worldtimezone.com/wtz-names/wtz-am-pm.html
01:00 AM = 01.00 in 24 hour time, very logical
11:59 AM = 11.59 in 24 hour time, very logical
12:59 AM = 00.59 in 24 hour time, very UNlogical

Following is stupid but logical in some idiotic logical way
12:01 PM --> 12.01
12:45 PM --> 12.45
12:59 PM --> 12.59

01:00 PM --> 13.00 And here comes the stupid time reboot!?

Feel my anger! lol
