lol....us programmers...
Yeah, because facebook's competence is a thing of legend.lol.
You programmers must also know that facebook could be alot more savvy about this.
Let's please stop talking about this topic as it's in everyone's best interest (except facebook's).
lol.

the harder it is for everyone to do, the more profitable it is for those that still can.
Prepay in advance more than you owe, and they'll credit the difference to your account. I did this when I had a home improvement project, and my credit limit was $3,000. I was trying to rack up Amazon.com shopping points while doing improvements, and not go over the limit. This worked fine for me.Heh don't get me wrong, I'm WAY in the black, but the issue is I've got a miserable credit limit. Paying that CC off every 2-3 days right now.
Heh thanks. Since that post I've gotten the CC situation under control thoughPrepay in advance more than you owe, and they'll credit the difference to your account. I notice that FB will automatically approve an ad when you clone a previous ad and don't mess with too much of it. Adding keywords is ok, but you have problems when you change copy and graphics and will need reapproval from Nanny Facebook.

Getting facebook users, especially teens, to buy anything is tough. Foreign traffic can be much cheaper and less saturated. My FB results so far are driving me batty. Since Thursday, I have a consistent CTR of .13 to .19 going to a sports niche EPN site that is targeted to teens. So far the traffic to this site has made me no money (aside from a couple of Adsense clicks).
I have been working 16 hours a day, grinding out ads and variations of them, with one conversion. My strongest campaign thus far has a CTR of .05, and the rest of them died down to .03 or .01 CTR.
I am trying campaigns in a variety of niches, and writing multiple ads for all of them. Each campaign has a small budget, the largest being a $20 a day dating campaign.
Tomorrow I may try a different tactic: foreign traffic. What do you make of these results?
I started working on foreign traffic offers today, and realized that Nanny Facebook can't see the affiliate landing page because it redirects to a US email submit offer. I expect that first ad to be disapproved.Getting facebook users, especially teens, to buy anything is tough. Foreign traffic can be much cheaper and less saturated.
erm why don't you set your bids to 0.01 and raise it only after your ad is approved and you've swapped your affiliate link back?I started working on foreign traffic offers today, and realized that Nanny Facebook can't see the affiliate landing page because it redirects to a US email submit offer. So I used Karl's linker program and set up a 301 redirect to the affiliate's landing page example. Once I get the ad approved I'll swap the example link for the affiliate link. (Karl's program offers geo-targeting, but I haven't started using this.)
There has to be a better way of doing this. I would have to act fast to change the destination link in order to not lose payment tracking, watching every second, awaiting the approval.
Do you recommend a foreign traffic proxy server?
One big enhancement Nanny Facebook could provide to us peons is allowing changes after the ad has been submitted for approval. How many times have you submitted an ad, wishing you could change a single word?

I know, but I asked because it seems like a very inefficient way to run a foreign campaign. I have resorted to using campaigns targeted to US & Canada, and had to pass up a lot of interesting offers.erm why don't you set your bids to 0.01 and raise it only after your ad is approved and you've swapped your affiliate link back?
