Sometimes if you use something like spoofcard to fudge your phone number so it's the same as the number you're calling, they let you into the voicemail without a pass code.
Err.. so I just got a voicemail from a blocked number: (trying to upload these voicemails but I have no mic and my can't figure out how to record voicemails from my BB Bold)
The voicemail said:
XXX-XX-XXXX
I'm gonna fuck you up.
Where the Xs represent = my SSN.
Any good lawyers in the SD area? This is fucking ridiculous.. this is now personal..

I would highly recommend signing up for one of those credit protection programs. If he has your SSN and it making threats, who knows what he's going to do. Better to be safe than sorry.

then copy+record+make public the voicemail.
get in touch with your phone company, give them the time of call and they'll be able to find out who made the threat.

then contact the police, and kearny ford -- in that order. record everything.
and please, publicize everything that transpires after -- this man is fucked, and it should be made available for public consumption.

Didn't this guy have it made perfectly clear to him already that threatening you was the wrong course of action? You actually had more than enough to go to the police and file a report with the initial voicemail. You chose a tamer course of action by letting WF fuck with him. Now he's saying he's going to fuck you up by abusing his access to your personal information?
It's rather fucked that with all the concerns about personal safety and identity theft, any asshole who wants to pay $25 can get highly sensitive information of complete strangers. Yeah, they did put it out there by filling out a lead form or something. But that's still no excuse.
This guy's career is over, at the least. At worst, he's looking at criminal charges.
