New ebay site with PHPbay pro

Hey rgordon. Very nicely done. Did you have to do anything special to get the search box to actually give results from the auctions? I have phpBay, but haven't figured that one out.

Wade (phpbay developer) helped my out with that. Post ur current search code on the PHPbay forum and someone should let you know what to change...
 
Have you switched over to EPN yet or are you still using CJ?

I have about 5 - 10 of these Wordpress phpBay sites and I was making $10 - $20 a day before the changeover.

Now, I've made $1.27 since April 20th. Definitely seems fucked up to me.
 
My phpBay site has been live for about 10 days, made about $0.40 so far with EPN.

I ended up customizing the wordpress theme you mentioned rgordon, it's very similar but i intend to change that once the traffic starts coming in.

It took me 3 weeks to get my first commission - $1.16 :)

I'm going to build more for sure. Phpbay is so quick to set up, I'm going to use it to develop 10 or so domains I have lying around gathering dust.
 
Yeah, I figured, pick a good 5 or 10 niches and you're set. I just can't believe my earnings have come to a halt.

Is no one else experiencing this? I can't even find a 'contact' form on the EPN site.
 
I have a ebay site using bans, the one thing I find tough about it is the income, it's varies wildly. You never know what is going to be on sale so it's hard to get that steady steam of buyers. 1 day I'll make 50% profit the next will be a 30% loss, it's always up an down.

Does anyone else notice this and how do you fight it?
 
I'm only getting about 4 or 5 visits per day.

Might have to add some articles or something to boost my rankings.
 
I don't understand why you use adsense. Yes is probably a good source of extra income but isn't that user worth way more if they actually buy something? I would think if you took the adsense away you might do better.

That's really awesome! If you don't mind me asking, how old is that site?

As for the golf ball one, I really like it. I think it's good how you've put the ebay logo in there and I would definitely keep it until they tell you to drop it. I also really like your AdSense placement, it's in a great spot.

Site is maybe 9 months old now, but i've had solid traffic since it's second month...

I have tested with and w/o adsense, it didn't really affect my ebay earnings. Plus for the golf ball site i get decent earnings from adsense clicks, clicks range from 20 cents to as high as a dollar sometimes... (please don't click my ads anyone.. Don't wanna get screwed by google)

Have you tested with a golf aff instead of adsense? I'm wondering if selling golf clubs or training aid would make you more money.
