user complaints shut down offer...thx fb!

Not only do we have to deal with FB's crazy ad approval process, crappy interface, and account funding problems. I was wondering why all my ads were being disapproved and here's the reason. i guess a couple people complain about an ad for no reason and they ban the site altogether. anyone else getting this problem?

Are you allowed uppercase words after first word?

  • The text of this ad contains improper or unnecessary punctuation. All ads must end with a form of punctuation. As per section 5 of Facebook's Advertising Guidelines, all ads should include logical, correct punctuation.
 
Urgh...they need to kill the ad board. I'm sick of bitches reporting my shit and turning around and using my ad copy along with my lps if I'm using one.

Fucking leaches.

I'm guessing the image you are using must be excellent. Can I ask what sort of ratio of ads you're getting approved?

I'm testing heaps of different images and so far I've about 200 not approved and a little under 20 let through.

Through the lifetime of this account, I've submitted a little over 600 ads now. Maybe 50 active right now, but I deleted many of my own free will, and even more were disapproved after initially being approved. Kinda hard to do a ratio. With my current submissions though I'm at maybe 1:3 getting approved. But that's only because I'm getting quite good at figuring out which will be denied and which will be approved.
 
Aside from me bitching...from what I've seen and heard the biggest problem people run into that can't make cash on FB is (aside from CTR) is targeting. Targeting will help a ton with your CTR if your pic/adcopy is good.

Just my 2 cents for the day.
 
I think that might be where I'm going wrong Xrproto now that I think about it. I'm targeting about 3 million people at the moment and (when I get an ad approved) my CTR starts around .2% or .15% and just heads south from there.

I need to segment that target a bit more and make the ad copy more relevant to each segment.
 
I've never been able to get my CTR above .1 or so with any ads. And I've had several profitable campaigns too...the margins must be great when you can get clicks for so cheap.
 
just got my new bloody visa card after a week of waiting now any secure sections of facebook are timing out. GODDAMNIT FACEBOOK YOU SWINE
 
I'm trying to create a new ad but I can't seem to get past the second step, I click on the "Continue" button but it wouldn't take me to next step (Creating the Ad).

Anyone else experiencing the same problem?
 
Fuck facebook just killed my bread and butter ads...all 45 of them. 25 earlier today, and they left my 20 top ctr ones going then i checked back now and all of them are gone. Fuck, fuck fuck!

Ive launched my first facebook ad and first affiliate ad for that matter a highly targetted ad based on demographics. Now its my first run out so id expect to have a lot to learn. It goes along the lines 'get product now'. Reason for this been i only want people interested in product to click!

The affiliate software im using doesnt show any sales as yet even though targeting is very high. Heres a paste of facebook stats not enough volume perhaps too highly targetted. The payout is 10 dollars from affiliate program. Id have expected conversions of around 25% on direct advertising after demogrphics are taken into account from what i have read here, based on information given earlier in thread.

Should i wait or should i change program its a direct link affiliate in URL no landing page either.

Damn my account was disabled after I had a bunch of ads disapproved. Any chance of getting my account back?
